The main entrance from the road side is not great. I bumped my head on the door many times as I entered and left and it was difficult getting my suitcase in and out. It's a very large door which remains closed with a small door opening that unlocks when you tap your card to the card reader. The place looks derelict on the inside of the entrance. The room felt congested and there was hardly any walking space from in front of the beds. None of the bathroom doors had a single lock, the sliding doors didn't allow for sound proofing which made it uncomfortable when using the facilities. There was no lift available so I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. There was no shower door to allow for privacy. It's a very open plan bathroom and the main bathroom door is a sliding door which is not lockable. The deco was gloomy

The terrace was a nice feature to make up for the congested room. The shower was warm and powerful. Water pressure was good. We checked in pretty quickly.

Daily supply of bath towels and more coffee capsules in the room would have been nice.

There was no breakfast, location was ideal and the balcony was a nice addition.

In winter, the (othervise beautiful) mosaic flooring was cold, they could have offered slippers. The road under the window was loud, but previous comments wrote about it, and we brought ear plugs. Otherwise the sound insulation from the other rooms were great.

For whatever reason, whenever we came back to the hotel in the end of the day, our room was really really hot. But opening the door to the balcony for 10min eas enough to make it cool down. Not a big problem in the end.

The locantion was the highlight! We we really close to the main touristic points, definitely made our visit better. And the shower was amazing too.

Not a big complaint but the balcony is covered with windows , more like a conservatory....probably to protect from the noise from the street so it is quite hot unless you open the windows. I think this would be a great feature in winter

There is currently no lift. For non-fit, elderly and disabled people it’s might not be possible to stay there, but it’s expected. Before we could check-in, it took me about 1 hour to fill in all contact details for 5 people on my mobile phone, which was quite tedious. I’d prefer it if they just ask myself and ask the others during check-in. Also, there is no lock on the bathroom door. It’s okay staying with family, but it might not always be comfortable with friends.

The apartment system is similar to airbnb, but they have a reception during working hours. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and will answer your questions on the spot. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a great contemporary design with some classical features. I loved the balcony, where you can have a chilled breakfast (great bakery downstairs). The location is perfect: it’s on walking distance from the main shops, few sightseeing places, public transport, gym (classpass), and there’s also a taxistand downstairs. Great stay and value for money!

Lack of convenient storage, especially in the bathroom (better shelves needed). No main bin in the room.

Location is excellent, between the Gothic Quarters, La Rambla and the shopping district. Also close to public transport for bus and taxi travel. Amenities clean and modern.
