Breakfast was the only thing that didn‘t convince us. The fruit at the buffet were hardly to be found, scarce, and didn’t get refilled. We think there should be more choice of fruit at a 4 star hotel.

Excellent location. The hotel is situated close to a busy street and not far from shopping and sights, but the windows are perfectly insulated so that you think you are in a quiet spot on the countryside with the sheep 🐑 when the windows are closed. We slept really well. Spacious shower and toilet. Tasteful, modern decor.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. By mistake I left a beloved object on the bed which was taken along with the sheets that were to be washed. The people at the reception managed to contact the cleaning company in time and retrieve it. The hotel is very close to the Universitat metro station, which is extremely helpful. The service in the restaurant was impeccable. I highly recommend Antiga Casa Buenavista. :)

The only downside is the room layout, which does not allow sufficient privacy with the bathroom. You really need to have been in a long-term relationship with the person you might be sharing it with to feel comfortable.

The hotel is magnificent, the facilities are modern and of high quality. The staff were especially extraordinarily considerate and welcoming. This is the main strength of the hotel.

The room size is little too small, but ok. There is no direct heating vent in the bathroom, feel a little cold when taking shower.

The property location is excellent. Service is super. We arrived too early, luckily there is a room available so we got our room several hours earlier than usual check-in time. Thank you!

we loved everything about this hotel. The tasteful contemporary modern design is not reflective of the technological advancements made in the hotel, instead of light switches they have a switchboard at the bedside and upon entering the room that allows you to set the room to "day, night, relax" modes and it adjusts the lighting in your room accordingly, you can also request room service through that switch board which i thought was really cool. The room was a little on the smaller side but it flowed so well and was organized in a way that you kind of didn't miss the extra space. The service at the dining hall was great, the drinks were delicious and that food was prob the best we had in Barcelona. They were so attentive! for my birthday they sent a brownie with a cute little message. The best part of this hotel though.... is management. they are super attentive and accommodating, they understand that the little things go a long way. We arrived at the hotel really early and they had our room ready within the hour (check in is usually at 3pm! i would not have made it that long!). we ended up getting engaged on this trip (to my surprise) and my fiance coordinated with the front desk for a delivery of flowers and rose petals in the room while i was gone, when we came back from our boat trip the room was filled with flowers and rose petals! they really outdid themselves. Aside from ALL of these amazing things, the day of check out they allowed us to check out at 2pm with no fee. They were always so happy to help. Lastly, the location of this hotel is perfect. Its "in the city" but not in the craze of las ramblas. So when we were ready to come back home to the quiet we had our hotel but when we wanted to be in the thick of the city we were walking distance away. could not recommend this hotel more! loved the place, loved the location, loved the food, loved the drinks, loved management, and loved the simplicity of checking in-out, communicating...
