How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

When I arrived, the room was not cleaned. After change my room, the door lock was not easily worked.

Just do an insect control and everyone will give you 10* review.
The room had a private bathroom, a small kitchen area and a large bedroom. I found the cleaniness exceptionally good, the only bad thing was that I found a living cockroach on the floor just before checkout. I think this is just a small mistake because apart from this, everything was really clean.

I would add some towels to the kitchen (if it´s there). It wasn´t possible to open the slats and/or the curtains for two reasons: there was a house opposite the hotel, and it would probably be too hot in the room (no controllable air conditioning in the room).
The hotel looks a bit outdated, but my room was big enough, with everything I needed. It was a room for two, it had a couch, a small kitchen (partly equipped), and a big bathroom. The staff was really nice and accommodating. The wi-fi worked okay. The hotel is located ca. 15 minutes by walk from the cathedral. Mercadona right next to the hotel. Totally okay for a business trip, like in my case, when you need to be in the room just in the morning and then in the evening.

Missing a kettle, I saw 2 roaches in the kitchen area, bed a little uncomfortable, there aren't products to wash dishes and cutleries

Broken bed and hard mattress - also kitchen facilities but nothing to wash dishes and cleaner does not clean either so had to buy own washing up stuff. Toilet paper very rough and cheap.

Some washing up liquid and sponges for washing the dishes would be nice in the kitchen. An electric kettle, too.
The hotel is situated very conveniently, quite close to the historic part of Seville as well as to the colourful Triana district. And the walk across the bridge is so nice.The supermarket is just next to the building. There are bars and restaurants nearby, too.

It had everything we needed and was checked every day. For someone on a sightseeing binge as we were it was perfect. Bars and restaurants nearby. Supermarket right next door. Very clean and comfortable.

The wifi was aweful. Very slow, almost dialup speed. Hard to connect to. I needed to do some video calls for work n wasn’t able to even load email
The location is incredible. Right in the heart of everything, very easy to access all the attractions, river and the cool neighborhoods

Most likely because of Easter week the price was on the higher side. It would be nice if there was a water kettle in the room.
Great location, supermarket next door. Central but quiet. Restaurants available nearby. 15 min walk to cathedral. Nice size room, comfortable beds. Regular bathroom and small kitchenette with very limited kitchenware. But good enough for our stay. Staff very friendly and front desk staffed 24 hrs. We would recommend this place.

Air conditioning not working. A kettle would have been a bonus
Ideal central lication . 10 minute walk into Santa Cruz/ Seville old town, 5 minutes to riverside restaurants and bars. Staff polite, friendly and helpful. Baggage store available after checkout . Clean with small kitchenette small fridge. Next door to well stocked supermarket

Windows on the corridors didn’t lock. Another guest on the sixth floor had a disturbing habit of pulling them open. This wouldn’t have been a problem if the windows had opened onto a balcony. But there was a sheer sixty foot drop.
Location. Staff very friendly. Allowed us to check in early and stored our cases for several hours after we checked out. Room extremely clean.

Since it was cold and raining outside, I am afraid, the room was cold as well. Who knows why, somehow it was not possible to send an e-mail to the Resitour's electronic address.
