There are no loungers by the pool, it would be nice if the apartment had some to take down. There was no kettle, would be a very useful addition. I'm not a fan of having to pay for electric on top of my accommodation cost, but for 6 days it was less than £10. I had booked for 7 but only stayed 6, but was still charged for electric.

The complex is lovely, nice pools well maintained. I had a top floor apartment, which I like, great views on 3 sides. The apartment had pretty much everything I needed. I had a couple of issues, but they were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Santi and his wife. Thank you. The apartment isn't modern, but it is homely, perfectly usable, and kept clean. It is close to the Consum supermarket and a few minutes walk to the beach. I will definitely stay again.

The apartment was noisy when I srayed in April, 2024.. Less than 100 metres down the road a pneumatic rock breaker on a building site was at work during working hours. This was not the fault of the apartment but my apartment was one of the closest to the site, despite me asking for a quiet apartment.

The apartment is good value considering the reasonable cost, and the rental conditions are as advertised. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen stocked with the essentials. The central garden area is well maintained and features a functioning pool. The location is excellent, very close to a supermarket and bus stop and five minutes walk to the town centre, shops and beach. You don't need a car to stay here. Some good hiking possibilities nearby.

The settee was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. The bathroom and kitchen units were very old but we're clean and servicable There were no wine glasses bottle opener or cork screw no mugs for coffee or kettle however this is an English complaint it would proberbly not bother most people Also there is Internet but it is very slow and frequently drops out. We were never given any check out details and no one arrived to check us out (we did text the contact number but did not get a reply until after we had left the reply was that his colleagues should have contacted us as he was away! ) we read the electric meter our selves and left the details with the key in the letterbox of the office. 3 days later we have had the bond less the electric cost put back in our bank so that is an excellent recovery of the checkout service

The bed was very comfortable and the garden patio was sheltered and perfect for winter sun. The garden was also perfect for storing our electric bikes the size of the apartment and the cleanliness was very good we would return

Was in need of refurbishment. Nothing was provided apart from a toilet paper. Cooking facilities very sparse, nothing provided to make use of the microwave. I’m glad we didn’t fly to property. Please ensure you read the small print before booking. I’ve seen better equipped garden sheds.

I had a great stay, I would book again for the price I paid, but potential clients should know a few things: First - read very carefully the description in Booking.com, scroll to the very end, after the reviews section, till the additional information. After booking (and the booking was non-refundable) I got a "surprise" message, that my room does not include towels, electricity will be paid separately, air conditioner is 10 eur/day (but the description of the room on Booking.com clearly states that towels and air conditioner are included). Then I wrote several messages to the property via the Booking.com app, and never got any response. On arrival, it appeared they never got my messages written in English, only the last one written in Spanish (the owner showed me his booking.com app). So, read the description carefully, and be aware of possible technical issues with booking.com messenger, better call the property. Here comes another potential issue for some - owners don't speak English. At arrival owner used Google Translate, plus I speak Spanish a bit, so no problem. But if you have to call then good luck! On inside property does not look as luxurious as from the outside. Renovation was done a long time ago. Sings of moisture damage and stains on the walls here and there. Then prepare that there is no toilet paper, no soap, no shampoo, no washing powder, no dishwashing liquid, no sponge for dishwashing, no salt, no sugar. No electric kettle. The toilet flush worked with some troubles. WiFi is very poor. The last thing - walls are very thin, you hear all the neighbors around you! And this place is pet friendly, so every second visitor had dogs. So dogs were barking, babies were crying, drunk people were having fun, and you hear everything very very well. Earplugs are a must! But again - overall I am happy about my stay and would book again if the price is as good.

The price, at least for my apartment in October, was very low, significantly lower than any other alternative in the region. The place is a relatively big closed complex of luxury-looking beautiful white buildings. The property has a pool (judging from the satellite images from Google, this is probably the biggest pool in the area). The pool is divided into three sections to be suitable for all ages. Access to the pool is free for all residents of the complex at any time. The water is clean. I don't care about the pool, but my daughter was super happy. A few minutes walk to a Consum that has everything you need. 10-15 minutes walk to the beach.

the gardener. the city of Alcossebre is not too accommodating. they suspect everybody from stealing in shops! including reused shopping bags. Shop assistants (in supermarkets and small shops too) are harrasing customers and are not professional to the customers all. Services are not present much - eg. possibility to order food on the internet for home delivery (not one supermarket offers that in the area), outside of season there are 3 local buses a day and to get anywhere by public transport takes very long. taxi services are unreliable, and unwilling, and there are almost none. we wanted to order a taxi in advance from one side of Alcossebre to another (moving from Kione to Al Andalus) and called several companies a week before the ride, and all told us it is not possible to order in advance, and that we need to call in on the day, but that they will take us. So we called on the day and they told us they can't come. so we were searching a taxi physically in Alcossebre, walking in the streets, and found one! But he told us he is not going to take us, and he is going to work and does not know about any taxi! the same day Santi gave us a number of a taxi, we called them, and it was finally a taxi driver who agreed to pick us up! So we were glad. To our surprise it was the same taxi driver who we physically found earlier that day in the streets who told us he will not take us. Also one day, we were also taking a photo of a phone number written on a taxi that was parked in front of Consum supermarket there, so that we have its phone number because there are no taxis around, and a woman run to us from the supermarket screaming how dare we take a picture of the taxi phone number, that it is hers and it is not a tourist season. All in all, we have traveled a lot, but this city was the worst experience with services we saw anywhere (excluding Santi, he was the best we experienced!)

    - It was a gated property, very nice garden, very green, clean, and we had a sunny terrace with sea view! - very caring, accommodating, helpful and professional manager Santi. - very calm complex, beautiful nature everywhere in the complex, birds singing - close to the supermarket

Those scary wild boars quite close to the compound which gave both me and my dog a real scary surprise - but that is not Al Andaluses fault....

Alcossebre is a very nice little town and Al Andalus is very nice and well situated close to everything.

The apartment was adequate and functional. Facilities were limited...beds were not made up...A grill or oven would have been good...or a toaster.. Balcony was excellent. Air conditioning cost €10 extra per night, worth every cent, although it didn't really cool the bedrooms.

Grounds kept really well. Pool facilities good. On site restaurant really busy at lunchtimes, food authentic and tasty.

Lovely basic self catering accommodation. As long as you don't mind doing everything yourself eg cleaning, taking out rubbish etc this is great value accomodation. You pay for your electricity at the end. Night time temperatures were cold so we bought a small 800w electric radiator at Carrefour for €22 and this was enough to keep the apartment comfortably heated. All things consideredwe would stay here again.

There was no heating and there were some reconstruction noises. Some of the facilities are a bit old and I had to wash the dishes there is no dishwasher.

Alcossebre is a really magnifique destination to visit that i had never known before. We styed there during school holidays in France untill our son gets back to school. It felt great to spend a February week there. A lot of sun , incredible view from our apartement all sides. kitchen with facilities and a nice little bedroom with balcony! which had sun until late when sun was down a bit in the other balcony! The big garden is beautiful with it's big pool. Generally I can say we were great just that it was cold without heating system. And the reconstruction was a bit noisy.
