The motion detection camera in the kitchen seemed to activate spasmodically.

The apartment has great layout, furnishings & location - two supermarkets within walking distance and the fabulous Casa Montana restaurant within 5 minutes walk.

Everything about our stay in Valencia was absolutely perfect: the location, how extremely clean the apartment was, that there were many cafes and restaurants nearby without it being a noisy area and the beach within walking distance. If you want to cook, the kitchen is equiped with everything you need and all the appliances are new and very clean.

The location is excellent, 10minutes from the beach, close to trams and buses. Cabanyal is a great neighbourhood , not yet full of tourists. A real working neighbourhood. Lots of great cafes , and two world class restaurants, Casa Montana, and La Salistria. The local food market is excellent for your food shopping. The apartment is well furnished and equipped , in very good condition.

It took too long to get hot water in the shower. Some of our belongings got stolen after we checked out and left our luggage in the common areas - that was not good as we were told by the owner that it was safe to leave it there. Apart from that, really not much to complain about.

There was some construction work going on next door which has nothing to do with the property but it would be very loud quite early!

Olga was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember. The property was located well to the beach and was only a short taxi ride into the old town. The apartments were well equipped and very clean.

We were so impressed by how easy it was to check in the apartment and how well equipped it was, truly amazing. Everything was super neatly labelled and extremely clear instructed. Really well done by owner Olga! Cabanyal is an amazing neighbourhood near the beach where you can enjoy some quite time away from the city. Though if you want to be in the city you can be there in 10 minutes max by cheap taxi or even cheaper public transport. That’s a big reason why we loved Barracart!

Great location 7 mins to a beautiful beach. Apartments are well designed and tastefully furnished with everything you need. There was loads of good restaurants within walking distance.

We did find that perhaps having a vacuum cleaner in the room might be better as we went to the beach a lot and it was quite sandy. Also having a spray for cockroaches would be good. We found 1 in the kitchen at night which and then saw one in the toilet which was rather scary. I think the place was very clean, but it is Valencia after all.

Very responsive host and easy to get into the apartment with the code. I also found the location to be very very good. On top of that, the place was comfortable.

The best restaurants in this part of town, especially during the high travel seasons, really do need to be booked in advance. I would have liked to have understood this a bit more because I missed the opportunity to eat at the restaurant associated with the ownership of this apartment. It was always booked for the time I was there.

I think Valencia is still undiscovered country. My selfishness is to continue to have it be that way. However, this was a great apartment, modern and in a location that is awesome for those who want to relax and have a more intimate experience of a Spanish city. I really wanted to get a feel for what it was like to live in Valencia and this really helped me as I explore places I would like to emigrate to.
