Location - too far from the cathedral to walk more than once a day & expensive for taxis. No kettle in kitchen area, very limited utensils. Shower is over the bath, not good for those with mobility issues - no grab handles. External area is a bit unkempt, weeds on tiled areas.

This could be such a lovely apartment by adding a table to eat at, nice pictures on the wall, a couple of small lights as alternative to the very bright ceiling lights in the main living area, and even some cushions on the settee/ another comfy chair. Would benefit from a kettle.

Great space in apartment. All facilities worked well. As described on Booking.com. Free car parking is on road directly in front of apartment. Very safe and dedicated bay parking, so cars are effectively off the road.

In the reservation it was written that the payment for the apartment will be made upon arrival at the location. However, two days earlier they started sending messages that my card was not valid and that they would cancel the reservation. We walked from Porto to Santiago and the whole time I used that card to pay for accommodation and now at the end of the trip they report that the card is invalid even though they shouldn't have charged in advance. It was not pleasant to hear that they would cancel the reservation after you had walked over 300 kilometers.

I found the entry info. a little confusing: a room labelled 209 might imply second floor – in fact, it was Street no. 24, room 9, ground floor. The ground floor entry code is applicable to more than one of the adjacent buildings. That said, the doors are covered in contact phone numbers, and this reception very patiently and quickly guided us to our room.

The room was very pleasant, clean, and good value for money. There was a bar 6 minutes away, near the petrol station, with a bus stop nearer.

The kitchen wasn't well stocked. Not even a kettle so we had to make hot drinks with the microwave.

For a budget apartment it was fine. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was fine, about 30min walk into town.

The reception hours were not ideal. Time between 2 - 4 pm, no reception service. Location of hotel up on steep slope, convenient only when driving but crazy when you are walking and travel on public buses

There are minor points : •A simple plumbing job was not corrected. • The property, which has a kitchen, could include certain additional munor items like a couple of tea towels for drying cutlery, plates, mugs and glasses.

The location was surprisingly ideal as both my son and I were in Santiago de Compostela for a personal Pilgrimage. In overall terms the property was perfect for our requirements.

The air conditioning didn’t work!!!

We really liked how clean the room was and it was very spacious. The host was helpful upon arrival and gave me great instructions on how to navigate around the city. We also had free parking for our car at the front. Also there was a nearby laundromat.

Overpriced for what you get, as the location is a couple of km from the centre. Basic beds but mattresses were grand. No sheet provided to sleep under, so had to remove quilt from its cover and use the cover to sleep under. No air conditioning, hard to get air into the room as you need the shutters down at night to block the street lighting. And the shutters are on the room side of the window, and therefore you can’t open the window (which opens inwardly). Would be a problem in the heat of the summer. Prices however do rise in Santiago for accommodation, probably due to supply and demand.
