An excellent host, location of the house, easy parking,clean,large,quite and comfortable rooms It was best choice to stay at a suitable point on the way back to Madrid from road trip.

There was nothing I didn't like but a suggestion would be on how to improve breakfast. There were loads of cakes, biscuits and croissants for breakfast. Some cereal or savory french toast with some individual butter/spread would have been nice.

The apartment was spotless, the host was very friendly. I thought I had messaged about travelling with my dog but somehow I hadn't, it was no problem. Very comfortable bed, nice sofa and TV. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a walk through the town to the viewpoint. On our way exit south we noticed some lovely tracks that would have been ideal dog walks.

Noisy heater in bedroom. Breakfast only adequate. Could have been improved with some fruit and yogurt and tea.

There were 35 steps to walk up to reach the room; it wasn’t a problem for us but it could be for others. Netflix did not work. Although the heating was put on when we arrived, it never got warm. I had to telephone the host to gain entry; lucky I had Europe roaming on my phone. Only one wine glass between us…..

The location was very isolated from anything touristy. A beautiful village, on top of a hill. A wonderful walk round the north area with the dog. A supermarket just down the road. Bars by the big church. Beautiful views from the balcony. Very helpful host, sorry I forgot your name, who spent time answering all my questions through google translate…. Good value for money. Some breakfast was left for us; cakes, croissants, coffee pods, milk etc.

Convinient location close to the highway in a small spanish village. Very easy to park the car, comfortable beds, something to eat for breakfast. We stayed only one night and it was perfect for us.

For non Spanish travellers, it would be good to have a kettle! There are only 2 knives provided - both steak knives, so that was frustrating, especially trying to put jam on my breakfast croissant. The bed is firm but that is quite common in Spain. Access to the apartments is quite tricky - our GPS was playing up when we left and we were relieved when we found the autopista again! This is a quiet town - do not expect to be entertained when walking the streets!

This was our second stay at El Barco. The apartment is fairly well equipped and easy for a night's stay. Travelling with an old dog was easy here as well. Breakfast was the usual croissant and cake offering but certainly enough.

Easy parking just outside. Apartment is spacious and everything is new and fresh. Beds were comfortable, nice coffee, dishes, goodies in the fridge: milk, juice, jam, and breads and cookies on the counter. The apartment was very comfortable. The owner is sitting on a little gold mine here.

The location is perfect - only 3 minutes from the motorway. The breakfast was much appreciated. This was our third visit and definitely the best overnight stop with our dog. We will be back.

There was no kettle and only a huge saucepan to boil water to make tea. The (corner) shower is really small. I’m not big, but both doors touched me when I got in, and I couldn’t bend down

Good selection of croissants, cakes, biscuits, juices, tea & coffee. Efficient heating (aircon). Located 5 minutes from the motorway.

The apartment was suitable for my family of 6. We were very comfortable. The apartment is well maintained and furniture is new. It completely met our expectations. We stayed only one night but if in the future we need to stay in the area we will definetely repeat here. It was easy to park just in front of the door. Excellent wifi connection. The hosts were very kind and the communication with them was very easy.

Apartment modern with good furnishings and very clean. Comfortable bed with excellent bed linen, we particularly liked the bed cover. In the kitchen we found a varied selection of pastries for breakfast and in the fridge fruit juices, milk and jam. There was also fresh coffee. Very conveniently situated with ample parking spaces immediately outside and relatively easy to find. Thoroughly recommended.

Soundproofing between apartments could be better but wouldn’t stop us staying again.

Very clean modern apartment only 5 minutes from A4. Comfortable beds, good wifi and a 3 minute walk from a few local bars. Continental breakfast provisions, toiletries etc thoughtfully provided. Excellent communication and welcome from host. Perfect stopover for journey South.
