Shower was an issue at first, but once we got the hang of it, it was great.

Apartment was spacious for 2 people. Lovely and clean. Change of linen/towels half through our stay (never received this service in any other Apartment we've stayed in) really great service. Lady who we conversed with on several occasions (not sure of her name) was exceptional and really wanted us to enjoy our visit in Torrejon and more importantly the apartment. Checking in was quite straightforward with Adam. Excellent stay, would definitely recommend

Tap water was really bad, but I guess there is nothing to do about it. Anyway the host gave us a bottle of water on our arrival, we appreciated it.

The apartment is very comfortable and quiet, there is everything we needed. The two sofa armchairs were really comfy. The sofà was not comfortable but we did not use it. Internal parking is limited but we found a spot every day. From there was very easy to drive to Monfragüe and the near Trujillo or Caceres. We really enjoy our stay.

Ideal location on edge of national park. Comfortable accommodation, one double & one twin bedroom. Very clean & spacious. Kitchen area within the living & dining area. Toaster, hob, fridge & microwave. Very nice walk in shower. Parking in small complex.

The attic apartment has sloping roofs which could be tricky for taller people. Breakfast was simple and limited but you could always make your own. Bear in mind that there is no supermarket nearby.

A lovely rural location, perfectly positioned for exploring the Monfragüe National Park. We stayed in the characterful attic apartment which was well equipped. We particularly appreciated the presence of a washing machine. Our host was friendly and keen to help, despite the language barrier.

Noisy washing machine which some selfish guests chose to run late in the evening. Bathroom door squeaked very loudly.....hinges needed oil.. liked the building but our apartment was up two flights of stairs and had very low ceilings.

Perfectly comfortable well appointed place with all we needed to catch up on laundry and do some cooking. Very friendly owner, well cared for and spotlessly clean. Good location for local birdwatching & local bar in the centre of town or upmarket hotel on edge of village for drinks and meals.

The pillow on the double bed is a long one, for both people, which is probably traditional, but not ideal for those of us who are not used to it! Otherwise, nothing to dislike.

This apartment is one of the nicest we have stayed in terms of comfort and convenience. It's quite rustic but fully equipped and spacious, and also very clean. There is an onsite car park and a number of restaurants/bars nearby, although the town is very small. The living area is well furnished with comfy chairs, breakfast table and decent sized kitchen area. If we ever return to Monfrague, which we hope to do, we shall certainly stay here, and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. It's also very good value for money.

WiFi basically only had internet connection 1 out of the 3 days. It was a top floor with the slanted roof as a ceiling and maybe only 50% of the room allows you to stand upright

The WiFi was unstable and we had multiple occurrences, where it would only work again after 30 minutes. The tap water tastes quite bad and even has a slight 'stale' smell, which makes any interactions with water unpleasant. The water heater also didn't work as expected and when you want to shower only slightly warm, it either stays cold or tries to burn you. The bed was okay comfortable, but I don't understand, why there is only one pillow and one blanket for a bed, that is clearly designed for two people. On booking.com the pool was advertised as open, however, when we arrived, it was closed and it seems to be state regulation, that they can only open 1. June. This should be clearly stated in the listing. Just be aware that it's an attic flat: The slope of the roof starts almost at the bottom of the walls, which means, that a lot of the space cannot be used without crouching. Also I've hit my head at least 10 times while cooking or using the bathroom. Also, we brought a dog and needed to pay a fee of 7€/day. This fee seems to depend on the weight of the dog. Ours was 14kg.

The location is close to the national park. The check-in was uncomplicated. The window blinds are quite effective, so you can make the room very dark and a nap is very possible. :)
