Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWiFi was not working for a day or so, and could use some more space for hanging clothes. All minor issues that do not prevent me from recommending the structure to others.
Great position and helpful staff. Room was clean and very nice. The position is hard to beat and the price was really good.

CanadaIt was just a little strange how you enter a busy restaurant and need to find someone to help you book your room. The communication between the people who manage the rooms online and the actual place is not super great. But totally worth the awkward moments.
The room was gorgeous! The bed comfortable, the location amazing!

Czech RepublicUpon arrival, the accommodation was hard to locate via taxi and there is no reception. Otherwise, everything else was perfect!
Location was exceptional. It is right in front of the Seville Cathedral, we can hear the loud bells every few minutes which was not a problem. The property may be a bit hard to find since it is in a small alley near a restaurant on the corner and even our taxi had a hard time finding it but all was solved when we asked store owners in the area. Our host Marie was very pleasant and kind. We arrived before check in and there is no reception, which we didn't know prior so we found a baggage storage nearby which charged 6€/bag. We also found it a bit loud when people were walking/talking in the hallway as the doors were not soundproof. The ground floor is also a restaurant so during lunch/dinner, we can hear all the noise from our room. It wasn't really a problem but it was just bothersome at times. The room itself felt comfortable and clean, we also loved the design. Very spacious and had complete amenities. Visit the rooftop, the view is amazing! There are cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops around the area and everything is walkable. There is also a taxi stand just on the corner in front of the Cathedral, if needed. We would return again and recommend this place!

PortugalThe Wifi didn't work and the connection inside the room was quite poor, so it wasn't an easy task to work from there (I was on a business trip). The staff provided me later with other solutions but it was already the day after I needed it (I checked out by then already). The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was fine at the end of the day. I had a tiny problem as well with the air conditioning (the heat mood didn't seem to work). I would say it is a fair accommodation if you are on holiday and you just need a central place to have a quick stop.
The staff was really nice and the location of the hotel is just great - in front of the Cathedral. They also have a lovely view from the terrace.

SpainThe WiFi password posted in the room did not work and it took multiple messages back and forth with the property owners over 3 days before they got it working during the last of our 4-day stay. Also, one morning we woke up without hot water. It was fixed quickly that afternoon, but we had to take cold showers to start our day.
The location and proximity to everything that Sevilla has to offer were great. We had no trouble getting from the hotel to any restaurants, sites, or shops. The room was comfortable, with a nice-sized bed and bathroom for 2 people.

IranThere wasn't any 24hr reception. The property entrance was so ugly.
Hi. Well, we understood that after the property renovation, in this room that we where in, we were the first guest. That's why I don't have any idea about the rest of the rooms. But, now, this room was very nice and clean. In my opinion, which I have travelled a lot, hotels, motels and places where they don't have an onboard reception or a 24 hour reception, unfortunately, is not good and there are times when you need them but no one is there and you don't have any access to anybody.! The property didn't have breakfast also, unfortunately.

New ZealandListed as a boutique hotel it is definitely NOT a hotel. It is a room above a restaurant, with very limited access to staff and a lack of amenities in the , very poky, room. It is very expensive and definitely not value for money, and a misrepresentation of what it offers.
Location excellent, people (staff?) tried their best.

CanadaWe stayed in room 9 which was very small — smaller than expected based on photos we saw. The washroom had zero counter space, which made it harder to use. In general, the decor of the room was very basic, which was a bit disappointing based on photos of the dining area of the hotel which was very beautifully decorated. Also, it was not made clear how to approach the restaurant and dining area attached to the hotel (ie were we welcome to sit there, hours of operation, etc).
Great location, very communicative host, clean room.

United KingdomThe address of the property wasn’t clear because the frontage is named as the restaurant on the ground floor 9 Musas. Some signage visible from the street would help.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The building is very beautiful and tastefully restored. The rooftop terrace is a nice facility to use and enjoy the sunshine

AustraliaSingle room is smelly and very small and dark. The double room is nice and clean, but except a kettle and two glasses, there is nothing else available (not even a teaspoon). It's actually not a hotel in the common sense, more of a 'serviced apartment', serviced on request. The staff responsible for the rooms are not very helpful or knowledgeable. When asked about the possibility of storring the bags for a couple of hours upon checking out they have directed me to some alternative location where one can 'rent a locker'.
Location is excellent. The double room is clean and nice. There is a downstairs restaurant (different business) that offers 10% discount for the meals if dining with them. The food is good and the restaurant staff is very nice and very helpful.

United StatesI was expecting comfort for the amount of money I paid for this hotel. But the room was ridiculously small in size, hard to walk around. They gave me room number 9… the window opens into the restaurant downstairs so no proper source of sunlight/privacy or ventilation. When I came to the room, it already smelled bad. And it is also right by the elevator, so being in that room does not feel private. At ALL. I was truly looking forward to my stay here so when i saw my room and continued my stay here, I was utterly dissatisfied. Maybe other rooms on this property are better. But definitely not room number 9. Will not be staying here in the future and I do not recommend
Nothing about this hotel.

United KingdomThe TV screen is very big so we both hit our heads on it going in and out of the bathroom. Would be good to get a smaller screen or tuck it away more so it’s not in the way of the bathroom entry. Probably not a problem if you’re not clumsy like us!
Such a great location, decorated to a really high standard and bed and linen was super comfy! Shower was modern and hot. Communication was excellent via WhatsApp with detailed info. Thanks!
