My only dislikes were. Whenever anyone used water in the other apartments above or beside you, you heard the water running. The drainage pipes are so close to the bedrooms u can hear the toilets being flushed, any water draining at whatever time is heard in the apartment . There was a very unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drains as well as a little mould on the ceiling underneath the shower head. We did report this and it’s being looked into.

The property was very clean and spacious. The outdoor area was amazing.

Barcelona isn't cheap. The price won't be my favourite memory of this trip, although it appeared that big events in the city may have driven the pricing. Nonetheless minor details - well, one not so minor - would make this an exceptional experience. In the absence of a dishwasher (always my preference over a washing machine), a working plug for the kitchen sink would have helped, as would a full cutlery service, rather than just two or three of each item, and an extra plate or two. Given the full-size oven and fridge, there was little storage for groceries. The not-so-minor issue was the daily battle with the drainage in the shower tray, explainable if you know a bit about building, but it's the most basic amenity and sorting out minor floods after even the shortest of showers didn't make the for ideal start to the day. Not enough to spoil what was a very pleasant experience overall.

There's an awful lot to like about this property. First thing to acknowledge is the truly exceptional service provided by Manuel, the property manager, starting with the spectacular effort of staying awake beyond 3am to manage our check in, after storms caused the collapse of the high speed rail service between Madrid and Barcelona. Manuel's patience and support rescued an otherwise disastrous journey that should have been one of the highlights of our trip. Thereafter, Manuel took care of our every need and ensured that we felt taken care of whatever we needed, including calling us a taxi to the airport and allowing us to store our luggage in the property in the intervening period. The property itself, while compact in living space, offers a very spacious bedroom with an impressive terrace directly off it, which offers screened privacy with views of the mature pines that line the streets. Without doubt in the hotter months it's an absolute paradise, particularly with its furnished communal outside space. And it was spotlessly clean. The location is even more convenient than it appears online, a gentle 10 minute stroll along what is effectively the same road, straight to a beautiful beach with a long wide promenade with several beachfront restaurants and cafes. Five minutes into that walk is the bus stop for a fifty minute 3 euro bus ride into Barcelona city centre, or 15 minute ride in the other direction into the town centre with its pretty and lively church square and direct railway link to the city. A longer stay would have been well rewarded, as we continued to discover more amenities and possibilities the longer we were there. The kitchen area was a shrewd use of limited space, but a full size fridge-freezer is a bonus for self-caterers, as was the full size oven and washing machine.

Checkin process is non-existent, no communication with the host unless you want to make international calls. Room wasn't ready untill 15:30, no one was there to meet us, only the cleaner to give us the key, again no instructions where to leave the key after leaving.

Great communication from Manuel and he was really helpful when I had to check in to the apartment and he was helpful when I had a couple questions. The apartment was clean with a good kitchen. Fairly large bathroom with a large shower area too. The air conditioning was really helpful for staying comfortable inside the apartment.

The host is very nice. The appartment looks exactly like on the pictures. The A/C is working wonderful. Parking in the area is free and there is always a free parking spot. I will definitely go again. Also very close to the airport if you arrive by plane

everything was perfect!

We met this cozy hotel by chance in 2022. I came back this year for a short trip, and it was even more beautiful. Quiet location, close to the beach and the city, has beautiful apartments fully equipped (coffee set provided, welcome gift, and “Rituals” products for the Bath). I felt in love with the garden!!! I had a private terrace but definitely I felt in love with the garden. Manuel and Sílvia were amazing hosts, thank you guys! I already booked for July :)

The host Manuel was wonderful. He was always easily reached if we were wanting anything such as information about the town or recommendations for restaurants. Very helpful and attentive.The location was excellent for walking to the beach. About a 7minute walk and very easy. The walk into city center was 15 to 20 minutes and also very easy. City center was full of restaurants and cafes and shopping. The train into Barcelona and the surrounding area was easily accessible in the city center. We stayed for 9 days and would liked to have done more cooking. Since Covid we are finding that places cannot keep even the basics in the apartments from one guest to another. It was just easier to go out and grab our meals. There was a very nice grocery store about 10 minutes away by walking for our breakfast foods.
