Movement sensitive lighting in hallways, therefore, you enter a dark area and it takes a moment for the dim lights to illuminate and your eyes adjust.

Location on the central plaza and close to places of historical interest. Central location with public underground parking beneath the plaza. The stairway from which emerges just a few metres from the hotel. Staff very welcoming and all keen to please. Hygiene/Covid security also very good. Private enclosed balcony. Water and soft drinks in the minibar.

Unfortunately we had a very small room, without the room to even open your suitcase and have space to cross the room and go to the bathroom. The shower head didn´t have anywhere to hang, so you had to hold it all the time.

The hotel is in an excellent location, on the plaza de ayuntamiento, beautiful, close to the historical sights - a lovely location. The hotel has 2 restaurants and the staff were very helpful.

I was in the front, so evening street noise on the square was loud (or lively, depending on your point of view). Ask for a room in the back. But my view was spectacular.

It was conveniently located. It had air conditioning. It had a bathtub.

In the middle of old town and a great location. Very friendly staff. The room was very big with a lovely, separate balcony. Very comfy beds. Exactly what I was looking for to start the camino the next day. The staff were extremely helpful.

The location was amazing. Our stay coincided with the beginning of Semana Santa, and our balcony overlooked the evening procession. There was also a great selection of restaurants to choose from right nearby. Good breakfast in the morning.

Noise coming from the main square as the town was being decorated for the festive season, therefore we had a significant noise from lorries, forklifts, and other vehicles. They were installing some lights, building a stage, and decorating other buildings. All this from around 8:30-9am. This is not the hotel's fault not even ours. It's just the time of the year and you need to put up with this.

We stayed two nights, a great place in the old town of Ponferrada, minutes away from the castle, museums, cafes and restaurants. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, a balcony overlooking the main square. Bathroom in decent size with good shower pressure.

all was fine

This was a prime location on the Camino de Santiago. It was right on the square and close to everything we needed. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Being a pilgrim, I was thrilled with a tub!!! Great place to stay.

Room was outdated. Window opened on a central area and large air conditioning unit which was very noisy so unable to have window open. Inside the room there was a very very bright security light which would not turn off. Overall would not recommend.

The hotel is located on the main square, which is incredibly noisy: concerts, guests at restaurants and bars with terraces till late night, singing and yelling groups of passers-by, trucks, etc. We staid for three nights, and each night sleep was hard to find, even using ear plugs with closed windows.

Breakfast is ok, small but sufficient variety (ham, fruit, cheese). Everything according to a good Spanish three star standard. Nice and helpful staff

Nice hotel good price in a very nice location here at the centre. Walk-in distance to the basilica of our lady de encina, nice town very romanic arquitectural.

Allocation of room next to a shaft /void which houses air conditioning unit extremely noisy throught the night sleepless night !! Noisy next room moving furniture/ suitcases throughout the night , people knocking on their door It seemed booking.com was allocated second rate rooms for 71 euros over priced

When they list all the things included in the room, they should also list what was not included like a WINDOW! Nothing worse or darker than a windowless room. Not to mention being over the restaurant where you heard chairs or tables being moved around until 1 AM. If you’re on the Camino, avoid this like the plague because four hours of sleep does not do well. I did ask to have my room changed just for sleeping purposes and was told they were full.
