The don’t have kettles in the rooms , so you have to ask stuff to bring you a hot water. For me it was a little bit problem cause I’m tea person:(

What a great place, in a good location. A large clean comfortable bedroom, with great breakfast options. But, for us, the staff made our stay extra special - they were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble.

The bathroom had a sloping roof which was relatively easy to knock your head on if you weren't paying attention.

Excellent value stay. Room was expansive and had space to unwind. A sofa, a coffee table, writing desk, spacious bathroom, lots of art on the wall - it felt like a Frank Lloyd architected space. After a month on the Camino and dormitory living this felt like heaven. All for 55 euro for the night - double rooms in Albergues can be more expensive than that! Will stay again next time i find myself in Santander

There was nothing to dislike. Even the walk back from town was lovely knowing where I was to return to Art Hotel.

Breakfast was excellent in quality and choice. The staff made me feel very welcomed and the location is a hidden gem within the area. And the elephant in the room/building the artwork was a delight to witness and a pleasure to behold

Nothing! Only thing to note for other travellers as we didn't spot it, is check out only starts from 7am and the desk isn't staffed earlier than this so not ideal if you need to check out for an earlier flight etc.

Beautiful hotel, great location, wish we could have stayed longer! Absolutely gigantic comfortable bed and an incredible terrace with sea view. Superb bathroom. Free parking in garage. Hotel cats too, always a bonus!

The floor of the shower was slippery. Even though being very careful, my husband did slip but fortunately not hurt.

There was a very good choice of breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lift efficient and well maintained. The staff were very pleasant.

The location was a little way away from shops but we only stayed 1 night so was not an issue. The area was hilly but had lifts and escalators for those with mobility issues.

Alba on reception was amazing. She was so patient when we had to park the car using a car elevator to take us to the underground garage. Alba was so friendly and really could not do enough for us. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The toiletries were very good quality. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was well stocked.

only that the handle of the door to the balcony was a slightly lose and awkward and the coffee machine a bit leaky, otherwise everything was great.

Even if we hadn't been fortunate enough to receive an upgraded room, this would still have been a really wonderful hotel experience. We picked it almost at random and I'm so glad we chose to stay here.. Stylish, clean, super comfortable, brilliant location, walking distance to everything you need including the wonderful Modern Art Gallery and most importantly, exceptional staff. (including the hotel cat!) It's so lovely to have a real person greeting you and do the check in especially when they are as welcoming and friendly as this. After check in, we were given a choice of secure places to park AND personally shown how to access the underground option. Since our car was full of luggage after a 3 month trip round Spain, this was a very welcome ( and free!) aspect of Hotel Art This is a very stylish reletively small, well run, friendly, quiet, brilliant hotel. Highly recommended and worth going to Santander just for this !
