Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe things that let this hotel down were. No food after lunchtime, only a vending machine. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
We loved the location of this hotel, and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was very clean and tidy at all times. The room was very clean, light, and bright. Nothing was too much trouble for them 😃

LithuaniaBreacfast.. I have to say, that breacfast is poor and everyday the same.. so if you stay more than 1 night maybe it is better to go somewhere for breacfast. Egs, sossage, juice and coffee. 5 mornings... you have to improve that point..
We liked Aria Stadium hotel. Good location, near metro station, food, cafes and shops. Especialy thanks reception guy Clayton for your good mood and help, as we came much earlier than check in time, but he took care of us and we got our room very quickly. Busy area, but our room was calm, balcony was situated to Barcelona's sleeping district with good views of city roofs. Comfortable bed, pillows and nice bathroom.

GermanyThe parking is very small recommend renting a small car, it was rough going up and down the ramps to the parking garage and almost hitting the sides of the car because of the tight spaces

The location was amazing with easy access to metro and the staff was polite and helpful. Our trip got extended due to flight cancelation, and they not only accommodated us but gave us a free breakfast. Room had the basic amenities expected for this price range.

IrelandNothing of note. A full-length mirror would be useful in the room. We stayed in January so the rooftop terrace and pool weren't open. They would be a good addition to the hotel facilities in the warmer months.
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff on reception (Joan, and young woman whose name I didn't catch) were both friendly and helpful. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is not in a tourist area but is 2/3 minutes from Metro, so we found it very easy to get around. Would stay again.

New ZealandA comfortable simple hotel. Booked at short notice, good value for money. Useful to have a minifridge in the room. Slept well as a sensitive sleeper, good soundproofing from road and between rooms. Recommend an upper floor room as ground floor noise from atrium carries a bit. Location safe and convenient, 2min walk from metro/bus stops, and near shops.
