Kitchen could do with a few extras. Tea towel, table mats, coasters. Chairs at table could be comfier, as if you use sofa as bed, you don’t want to put away on short stay

Simply decorated, modern, very clean. Fabulous location. Liked the cute little balconies. I was actually glad not to be looking over the square as would be noisy. Both beds were comfy.

The sofa bed is too small for an adult. It would be perfect for a child or teenager.

The apartment was very beautiful and centrally located. A bit noisy at night due to the bars in the square below, but by midnight the noise was over.

A very minor observation, but the kitchen sink plug did not work, so the sink wouldn't hold water. This made it difficult to rinse or clean cups and crockery, especially if it was just one or two items and you didn't want to bother with putting the dishwasher on. However, when used, the dishwasher worked perfectly!

Entry to the building and room was by keycode. This was sent to me the day before my departure by email. No problems experienced. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and has all you need for your stay. The location is ideal, being only 5-10 minutes walk to the centre, but far enough out of the centre so as not to be too disturbed by nightlife. Fortunately, I didn't need to use the heating or air conditioning during my stay, but the control looked complicated and I could not find any instructions. You can probably work it out if you are more tech-savvy than me! I didn't get to meet the host (Xavi), but he is very good and quick to reply to messages. He also gives you his phone number in case of need. There is a locker store for baggage if you need it for day of departure and it is free. I really enjoyed my stay. Being an 'older' solo traveller I found both the property and Alicante a great experience. Either side of the property at ground floor level you have the choice of two excellent little bars, Good wine, tapas and not too noisy at night.

The main door is not very well isolated and you can here everything happening in the hallway. It was okay with our neighbors but if was a bit annoying with cleaning crew that was talking loud on their phone and to each other or playing music.

The location was a win. Apartment had everything you need for a short stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. We were scared about the comments regarding the noise from the bar downstairs but it was not a problem (at least in our apartment as it was located on the side of the building) Overall I would recommend. :)

Communication wasn’t good as several times when I tried to contact Xavi I got an undeliverable message from booking.com This leaves guests somewhat vulnerable especially upon arrival.

The location is great, very central, close to both the city centre and the seaside. All facilities (shops, restaurants, etc.) are very close by. The apartment is clean and well equipped. The communication with the host was impeccable.

The check-in information was received a day late. We needed to reach out and request the check-in information on arrival which delayed our entry and caused some stress as it was late at night when we arrived and was quite inconvenient. That aside, the experience was excellent!

The noise from the bars below can be very loud at the weekend, Id recommend bringing ear plugs.

Everything was beautiful about the apartment. It was really modern, clean and well kitted out with everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable and the 3 balconies were amazing.

Host was very informative before hand and gave all required information to gain entry. Kindly allowed early check in. The apartment is in a great location, with some amazing bars, cafes and restaurants on the door step. Been to Alicante many times and usually stay in a hotel. Balmis is so much better. We will definitely use the apartment next time we are back Thanks Xavi for making our stay perfect
