Dinner is served at the earliest at 9 - very Spanish I know, but I had been cycling all day. With some persuasion we obtained bar snacks as we waited.

Amazing location and very friendly and helpful receptionist. My room was large, very elegant and the bed was both great to look at and comfortable. Plenty of hot water to shower.

I didn´t like the fact that the building has not air conditioning, the weather was very very hot 38 degrees and it was boiling in the room. Could it be at least a fan in the room to be able to have a pleasant night.

The building were very nice as it was and old buiding quite well maintained. The balcony were very nice in the room and the views to the country side. Beautiful and lovely views

If someone spent some money on the gardens, a path to the lake, somewhere outside to stay this would be a great place … as it is it is a fabulous place to stay over en route to somewhere else. Super value

No facility for food outside of the set diner, which may be fine if that’s what you want. Also the bar shuts really early and there’s nothing around the hotel as an alternative

The place is unexpectedly great. I’ve read some bad reviews, however, everything’s great! Of course, don’t expect a 5-star hotel experience for the price you will pay in this hotel. But the location and landscape around are beautiful. The hotel is old, but charming. The room is spacious, the bathroom is clean, and most importantly, it smells good. So, you’ll have a restful sleep at night. Additionally, breakfast is also good. You have everything you need, from tea, coffee, juice, etc., then they prepare different breads and cakes, plus eggs, hams, etc. They also have their own restaurant, where you can eat lunch and dinner. And they have discounts for their guests. The spa is also great. You will also receive discount as a hotel guest. They have various massage services as well, and you can rent a robe for 2€. And if you don’t have a pool cap, you can also buy at the reception for 2€. With regards to their customer service, the staffs are nice and helpful. Although, they all look busy all the time. But they will always help you once you ask.

Breakfast was continental with lots of choice to help yourself. Delicious Location was fabulous, beautiful views, similar to Scotland in some ways with snow on the hilltops

We had been traveling all day and had picked this hotel because there was a restaurant. However, the restaurant didn't open until 9.00pm which, I understand, might be normal for Spain but didn't help us when we arrived about 5.30pm cold, wet and hungry.

The hotel is an old fashioned, traditional Spa. We stayed for 1 night on route to the Santander ferry on a motorbike trip. The rooms were very spacious with comfortable beds and a large en suite bathroom. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The staff didn't speak much English but we were able to communicate enough. The evening meal was really nice and breakfast also very good.

The location was absolutely beautiful with no light or noise pollution. If you are looking for somewhere with life and close by to the city then you've picked the wrong place as it is in the middle of nowhere. so long as you keep that in mind you will be very happy

No cooked food on offer at breakfast/except toast.(We were told-30 minutes after opening- that it was finished ,but there were no signs at all of any hot food on offer). Perhaps this is to be expected of mass catering at this mid-market level ?

. The suite,if the bed is on the small side . The balneario .The reception staff. Coffee and hot milk supplied at tables at breakfast was cheerfully a competently,and regularly offered..

Amazing location and views in a balneario from the past. We loved all the original decor and the room was super comfortable, especially the bed. We also had dinner here as it was a really foggy afternoon and evening and like the whole stay, the service was excellent. A definite recommend!

We had a problem with our car and the owner / manager of the hotel was extremely helpful and called someone for us to fix it. The next day we could continue our trip without problems. We are very grateful! 🙏
