United KingdomWe did not have a Hotel booked when we landed and found this on a Google search, we only booked 1 night but on finding the Hotel and walking in we booked for the week. The Hotel had only just opened up and was not busy but the Staff could not do enough for you. The Hotel was designed both inside and outside to a high standard. I would highly recommend this Hotel

LatviaI am perplexed by the lack of basic amenities such as drinking water in the rooms of a hotel of this caliber. Furthermore, while the room is equipped with a kitchenette, it lacks even the most basic utensils. Does the hotel management expect guests to bring their own pots, plates, spoons, and forks? What is the purpose of having a kitchenette if guests cannot even enjoy a simple cup of tea in their room in the evening?

United KingdomThe poor service, the impoliteness and unprofessional actions of some of the staff, the fact they didn’t provide even basic courtesies such as water in the room, water glasses in the room, kettles/coffee making facility, bath robes, etc etc - this all despite the fact that they claim there to be a 5 star hotel, and advertise as having a kitchenette… yet not providing any cutlery or crockery or pots/pans as standard. Just all round a really poor show and is clearly due to a LOT of corners being cut. This hotel ought to be downgraded to 3 star if that.
They provided three pillows per person and room was spacious enough

United KingdomGot full board but would rather have eaten out. Dinner was not nice at all, would never have paid for it if I knew in advance how bad it was. Breakfast was better. Outside terrace in room was covered in cigarette butts. Receptionist did ask if we want we wanted to change room but we declined as the rest of the room was clean. A cleaner was sent to the room to clean outside terrace. The infinity pool was closed The cocktails were 10euro each and were disgusting. The bar had no white rum.

IcelandThe buffet was bad. Breakfast not great and the restaurant was very noisy and lot of echo. The dinner was even worse. It was supposed to be a romantic dinner to celebrate wedding anniversary, but it was far from being like that. This could work for a 2 or 3 star hotel, but definitely not for 5 star.
The hotel is nice and the spa is great. Service in the reception and spa was very good but not as good in the restaurant.

United KingdomCheck in is late in the day at 4pm , the use of spa facilities such as pool and sauna are charged at €20 pp, no staff on rooftop pool so unable to order a drink, the buffet meal we booked was cancelled and we were seated in the snack bar restaurant with a choice from a set menu with no vegetarian options, unable to see the TV from the bed in the room, cooking facilities in the room but no utensils, no drinking water provided in the room, no evening entertainment or bar to relax with a drink.

NetherlandsOur check-in was really really really terrible. We had a long journey and the guy didn't say or ask anything other than "passports please"! It was the worst experience we've ever had!! At a five-star hotel!! How is this even possible?? My wife said she thought we arrived at a prison and we where convicts, that's how it felt! Some personnel at breakfast didn't want to speak, or didn't know how to speak English. Not really a five-star feeling. Our breakfast-table was completely erased everytime we walked away for 2 minutes to get some new food. We had to relocate every time! Super annoying! Happened at least 20 times in 8 days. That's not really a five-star feeling, now is it? Keep an eye on your guests! Breakfast is good, but same stuff everyday. No daily variety. We've been to some other five-star hotels and there was new variety everyday. Coffee was terrible. There was chocolate in my Cappuccino everytime?!? The rooftop closes far too early at 20:00. I would've loved to see the lights of the skyline from the rooftop. Would have been super romantic. Please let the rooftop open until 23:00 or something and let us enjoy the nightly views. The kitchen in the room doesn't come with anything. I had to ask for some kitchenware several times. I don't understand why there aren't any basics included at arrival. Maybe at the check-in they should've asked us if we wanted some kitchen-appliances. There was no coffeemachine or possibility to make tea in the room. There was a fair amount of dust on the side-edge of the nightstand right next to my bed. Parking in the hotel is expensive, 19 euro's for a day. It is cheaper to park in the Amsterdam city-centre than in this secluded hotel. I really don't understand. Lot's of screaming kids everywhere, can't blame the hotel though. There was no help at all with our suitcases. Overall this is a decent hotel, but five-stars.....noooo....
The room was spacious and quiet and the bed was very comfy (a bit short though for my 1,91m) really loved the rooftop pool. (Music was loud) Very good and quiet airconditioning. Breakfast was good. A lot to choose from. Need a car to get around, but no problem for us. Good value for the buck.

Really nice facilities, great staff and good breakfast. The rooftop terrace and the view from the hotel is really great. Also the apartments are great value for money. All rooms have a nice terrace/balcony.

SpainWiFi signal in our room was poor, didn't work properly. The lavatory (toilet itself) wasn't stable,it balanced a little. One bun during breakfast contained mold inside(was not fresh). One of the reception ladies (most probably a trainee) was not very nice, didnt smile to us at all, however the other one was wonderful and friendly. We couldnt access the spa zone with a child
Everything was really clean and nice. Awesome swimming pool, towel and bar service. The life guard in the swimming pool was very attentive and did a great job. Extremely nice staff, beautiful garden and views. Delicious dinner and great breakfast / coffee
