Modern, generous rooms. Great wardrobe space. Well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Air conditioning and heating worked perfectly. Quiet rooms, seemed to have excellent soundproofing. Easy access to several transport options. Hop on hop off bus stop just over the road. Main shopping street adjacent, lots of restaurants and attractions nearby.

Only one very minor point - each room has a rather complicated switch to show housekeeping whether or not to clean the room, it is not clear how it works and it’s very easy to switch to “Do not disturb” without realizing. We had that problem but the hotel staff sorted things out extremely well. Personally I’d recommend the old fashioned “Do not disturb” label that you can put on the door if needed.

Very well located for the touristic places in Madrid, comfortable and well appointed rooms, extremely attentive and pleasant staff who really go out of their way to make guests happy. The breakfast buffet is absolutely exceptional - very much recommended!

Best Hotel Breakfast Ever! Terrific spread with copious fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries, as well as an omelette bar, plenty of local specialties, smoothies, and gluten free and vegan options. The deluxe room bed was incredibly large and comfortable and all accommodations were stylish and comfortable. Room was spotless. The only small complaint is the lack of privacy for the toilet room.

Would like the hotel management to please screen the room cleaners. We were part of an Insight Vacation group. Mysteriously, our room key disappeared and later found a file containing travel documents missing, luckily no money or credit cards. We witnessed a suspicious individual leaving a room facing ours which was cleaned by the same young lady who cleaned our room. We hope the management will take our concern seriously. Thank you

There was not a door on the bathroom, however the toilet and shower had frosted privacy glass. We were charged extra for milk with our morning tea in the bedroom euro 2.50

Some details in the facilities do need a little bit of touching up. Some of the grout in the shower had slightly unpleasant discoloartion and early signs of mold. One of the spray nozzles in the welness centre mixed-temperature showers were not functioning. Some paint was chipped in the 4th floor corridor. Our king-size bed was in fact just two single beds covered with a matress-topper, so the sleeping toward the centre of the bed was slightly uncomfortable. Small details that do not take away from the general experience but should not be neglected in the long run.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was tidy, spacious, and cozy. The bed was comfy and the linen felt luxurious. The bathroom was also nice, with a pleasant shower experience. The selection at breakfast was plentiful and I greatly appreciate there were options for people with food intolerances. The swimming pool also happens to have great views of the city, especially at sunset. The hotel is in a perfect location for those wishing to explore the city and it is just far enough from the busy tourist-trap locations.

Apart from room no where to get a coffee if wanted once breakfast bar closed. Room was lovely and I really loved the balcony , however there was a draft from the door to the balcony.

All was excellent however I think there is a room for improvement, example the window could not be open even a little, there is no privacy in between the toilet in the room, so depending who you are travelling with it might get uncomfortable and there door are glass and pretty much you can see what is happening there. And the amenities such as tea or coffee could match the quality of the rest of the hotel.

Design from Jaime Hayon was the main reason for me to choose the hotel. Location is incredible (Plaza de España) with metro station just across the street. All the staff, like Mr. Enrique Asprón, is very welcoming and gentle. Fitness center 24 hs is a plus.

King size bed was actually 2 twin beds put together. I would have preferred an actual king. Pool needs appointment before use.

Location near palace so we would walk there almost daily. Room was nice. We got a premium room. Clean. Staff were nice and accomodating.
