Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomI failed to access the apartment for a several hours as the link to open the electronic door lock didn’t work - until the link was copied into a new browser. The provided links via booking.com chat do not work.
It’s a lovely, first floor, two bedroom apartment, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, both with tubs, no shower enclosures, with a French window facing the front and a glass sliding door facing the back with a patio.

Ukrainealmost impossible to find a parking space; the terrace is not usable since it’s coming to the internal yard, so you share the breakfast with the neighbors; even though it’s only 1 apartment per floor, the building construction is quite old, so you can hear the neighbors from all the directions; the entrance door is not in good condition, so every time there is a small air pressure on the stairs (i.e. someone opens/close the door), it feels like someone enters the apartment; coffee machine is broken; majority of internal doors (even toilet) do not have latches

SpainThe apartment requires a bit of an upgrade. The beds were very uncomfortable, and so was the couch. A lot of the furniture looked really worn out.
It's a nice spacious apartment in a really good location, not in the center but close enough, with a lot of restaurants and shops around. The small terrace is a nice plus. Coffee, tea and all cleaning essentials were provided.

SlovakiaMain street is noisy during the day but thats the life in the city. I didnt like their digital key since you wouldnt get into the house if your phone died ;) not convenient for everyone. Also, 200 eur deposit is not appropriate.
Apartment is very comfortable even for 4 people, there are two bathrooms and the balcomy. Very nice residential area with all facilities, shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely park with fantastic view of the city and public transport that will get you to the centre. Staff was helpfull when we needed them. Ask for the parking advice.

A very easy online check in process, the door of apartment can be opened by a mobile phone, internet is good enough to work online. The apartment has all its amenities needed like living at my own home. Parking is not a problem just a minute away and it is secured. Restaurants is in every corner of area and walking the area is a must to discover more things about barcelona.

United KingdomNo wifi, the kitchen was low on equipment, only 1 mug, no sharp knives and only a few utensils. Coffee machine was broken. The kettle was also broken and I burnt my finger on the steam when trying to turn it off, as it didn't click off when boiled. Wall sockets were in bad repair, some didn't work and others felt like a hazard. Just felt the facilities were very old and tired in places. Had tried to book the apartment with the large terrace so our group of 4 could sit outside together, but given the second floor one with small 2 seat table so we couldn't.
Flat was spacious, very clean and well laid out. Two little terraces/balconies were lovely for letting light in. Thick walls meant we didn't hear anything from outside the flat (traffic, neighbours etc) so slept very well. Beds were comfy, extra pillows etc in the wardrobes. Great communication from the hosts throughout our stay and a swift refund of our deposit on the same day we checked out.

Good speed internet perfect for my online work, very responsive host, easy check in online and can open the door by a mobile phone. The apartment is very clean, spacious, well furnished, completety equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Other than that well communicated public transport in barcelona city makes my visit well planned. Groceries, restaurants, and necesities are just a walk away from the apartment, even walking around the neigbhourhood is a lot more to discover.

United KingdomThe apartment was not as clean as expected and its decor had seen better days. Not all the equipment that should have been there was there, for example there were no sharp cooking knives. The explanation about parking was poor, we would have thought the apartment would have a special deal/arrangement with a local car park. Unfortunately I would not recommend to anyone to stay in this accommodation.

We were absolutely shocked upon arrival that the photos didn't reflect the actual unit. The flat is in need of major repairs, upgrade and a thorough cleaning. the sofa bed is disgusting and the bathrooms were not much better. the building smelled like sewage. The host was unapologetic when confronted about the photos from advertising versus the actual condition of the flat. The parking was not included nor private and closest was 45 euros for 2 days.
