No one cleaned the room the whole time we were there which was 5 days.

The room was nice, it had character. It looked fairly clean. We were there for 5 days but the room wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there. It would have been good if someone came to clean it every two days. The room didn't have much light. Two single beds were joined up to make it a double. It would have been better if it was a double bed. The receptionist was nice, he tried to help when I asked questions. We paid for breakfast but there wasn't much there for breakfast. Would recommend people not to pay for breakfast. The hostel was close to a lot of attractions which was good. We walked everywhere from there. There are a lot of bad reviews for the hostel but luckily our experience was fairly pleasant.

At the announcement it was supposed to have private parking but when we arrived there was no parking and the solution was parking on the street or pay for a parking lot.

Unfortunately, we were told a couple hours after checking in that we would have to move out of our room. That a mistake had been made. We came back to speak with Katrina and we were able to resolve the issue. We did have to move to a different room on our last night there.

We did not eat the breakfast there. Other guests did eat and seemed to enjoy it. We liked the balcony overlooking the street. It was enjoyable to watch all the energy on the street, even though it was noisy at night. We could have pulled the doors totally shut, but it was nice to have an airflow, so we didn’t.

The place is not properly maintained. Lots of things are broken. Next to the reception is a broken vending machine. No sign that this is broken, and the receptionist is not responsible. But still, the machine is there. Doors to the balcony are broken. No airco in the room. We've been for 1 day to Barcelona, and for this purpose it is fine. But not for more days.

There are two reasons to choose this hotel: location and nice old glass windows. Thats it. On all other points, I do not advise this hotel.

Beds are not so comfy, every Noise can be heard from shared walls. Old Skelton key door lock didn't work well and room didn't feel secure.

The pillows were poor quality, and luckily for us the weather was beautiful and mid twenties so the fan provided was adequate to sleep comfortably. The room was OK and hostel style double with shared bathroom what it lacked in amenities it made up for in old Barcelona charm.

The location was excellent, the building is old and charming with many original features. The small balcony over the street and huge double doors were nice. Shared bathrooms were clean and not shared by many people - we didn't notice anyone else using them when we did. Water pressure was great.

No A/C. Bathroom was very dim and dingy. There were roaches, and something in the bed I slept in bit me leaving an itchy, patchy, rash on my right upper leg and waist area.

It is not a luxury, just a very basic equiped hostel. But for the price it is ok, the breakfast was ok as well, the staff was helpful and the location is great.

The bed has bed bugs, my face arms and body has been bitten and that ruined the trip for me. it was very uncomfortable as well since the bed seems broken. Also during our second day of stay, the plugs doesn't work until our last day, the only outlets that was working was outside so we literally have to go outside everytime we needed to charge.

The staff were amazing specially the guy. He was so helpful and made sure everything is okay.

It was very loud - we could hear people talking in the room next to us. The bathrooms were okay but nothing great. We didn't have a mirror in the room and even though it was a big one, there weren't many things in it. The beds were not that comfortable. The towels were clean but seemed old. There was no iron.

Great location - everything was really close to us and we had access to transport. The staff was friendly. The murals were very beautiful.

Nice location, just few blocks away from Palau de la Musica. It is on the second floor of an old building with nice decor. The room size is ok, quite clean despite its age.

A very good location. The host was very helpful. Room spacious, but a bit hot in the middle of the summer. Room was equipped with ACs but it was not enough really to cool the room. Breakfast very basic. Two showers/bathrooms shared. Located just the next doors it was not really a problem.

The beds were a little old and the place really needs air conditioning. It was really warm and did not cool off in the evenings, making it really hard to sleep. They did provide a fan in the room, but it was not really enough. Also, the shower in our room did not drain well, so one was standing in a puddle even with a short shower.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The young man who did the check in and breakfast was great. The breakfast was simple but enough to get one started on the day. We liked how close it was to the metro and other sights. The size of our room and bathroom were fine and the window balcony was nice to sit in. The decor was fun.

We were disappointed that the rooms claimed “air-conditioning“ but that amounted to a very small portable air conditioner that didn’t work to cool things down. We had to rely on a giant fan. The breakfast was included, but was really not good. Burned coffee, and kind of stale bread. We chose to go out to several close by cafés and buy breakfast most days. The shower did not drain properly and would fill up to your ankle depth. The next person showering would have to wait for it to drain out.

The balcony in the room was fantastic. The area behind the lobby outside was great to eat breakfast. The stained glass windows in the lobby were really cool. The location was great to walk to a lot of things.

In 'suite' there was supposed to be 4 beds, but 2 of those were bunk beds. Air conditioning was a fan. Poor breakfast.

Very poor breakfast, not a buffet. We have to ask for food and drinks. We were 4 people and we just received 3 croissants and 3 cakes. The place is beautiful but needs reshuffle. The cleaning isn’t regular.

Beautiful dining room, beautiful rooms with some outer space and painted walls. The location is very good and near metro station. The staff guy that receive us and was on Monday is more thoughtful.
