How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Loud roosters in the area and some noise from neighbouring rooms disrupted sleep.
Great place to stay in the south in a community that doesn’t feel overrun by tourism. Close to Teide and El Médano and the south airport. Very nice host with a great continental breakfast spread. It was too cold to swim in the pool but the pool and outdoor space looked nice. Room was comfy and shared bathroom was kept very clean.

I stayed one night, I liked everything, no one bothers you, I was always alone. If you want to relax, then this is the place for you. They let me in early, overslept, left later. Everything was great.

There was a roaster that started screaming around 4am till the morning every minute or two, so we needed ear plugs to be able to sleep 😁
Beautiful house, with three separated bedrooms and shared restrooms 🙂 Very nich outdoor with pool. Awesome breakfast! Very close to the south airport by car and there is s castle with medieval shows.

The rooster next door (and the two others in the village nearby, I suppose) need to be readjusted, because being woken at 04:00 am wasn't fun. With a full house, the super-convenient and cozy bathroom next to the bedrooms was seldom vacant.
Our host, Tony, is a warm-hearted and dear person, always helpful and available to share her knowledge of Tenerife. Her "casa" really felt like "home", with an attention to detail. Aldea Blanca is a perfect hub to start excursions in all directions, near and far.

Surrounding not particularly beautiful. If you like to have a shared bathroom, it is ok than.
Good location not far from the airport, nevertheless calm surrounding. It seems to be once just a normal family house which you can recognize from the house structure. You feel more like in someone's home, because dining room is very little like you would have it at your house probably. Anyway all.is perfect organised, simple breakfast, very clean.

The breakfast overwhelmingly carb focused. Doughnuts, cakes, jam, honey, etc. Even the youghurt was flavoured with cane sugar.

The bathroom is a shared facility with three other rooms. Privacy is thus only limited. We did not realize this fact at booking. Location is in a sub-urban area without restaurants in walking distance. Car is mandatory to get around.
We have spent only one night here after we arrived late night at the airport. The self-check in even in the middle of the night was possible without any problem. The hosts are friendly and helped us to organize a cab at our departure. Breakfast is located in small kitchen/breakfast-room where you can share a table with other guests.

Nothing. B&B Tenerife was perfect for what we needed.
This was a fantastic bed and breakfast. We stopped here on our way to La Gomera, having arrived on a flight late in the evening and catching the early morning ferry. It was ideally situated roughly 10 minutes from the airport (TFS) and 15-20 minutes from the port at Los Cristianos. Breakfast was lovely (and plentiful) Continental style with cereals, rolls, croissants etc. The accommodation was very welcoming, comfortable and clean. The owners even helped us with organisation of our onward travel. I am not sure if there are a lot of places local for eating or drinking, but there are taxis, and local take aways (we had a pizza delivery within 30 minutes). My only regret is that we were unable to make use of the lovely pool and sun terrace. Maybe next time. I would certainly stay here again.

Propose large fan for hot summer nights.
We stayed one night because we arrived late at the airport. The only interest of the location is the proximity to the airport. Nice guests, Excellent breakfast It was hot when we visited Tenerfie and fan were available, a little bit to smal however. Nice swimming pool.

It was quite remote if you were there for a while. You would definitely need a car.
We only stayed one night, but it was more than adequate. They made us welcome, and told us to treat it as our own home. We went to Lidl and bought ham cheese and bread. We were given plates etc and made to feel nothing was too much trouble. We had 2 rooms and the bathroom across the landing was fine- as there was only is there. Comfy beds. The breakfast was very good.

Me and my mother had a lovely stay. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and the location is great because it is close to the Airport in the south and also the Los Christianos ferry terminal. Our flight arrived late in the evening and it was easy to take a quick taxi and we had a wonderful hostess lady welcoming us! Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Next time in Tenerife we will be staying here again.

wifi was not properly working… or in any case the signal was bad in the room… but that’s not enough to complain, considering the overall experience. however, if you do not have data on your mobile phone, it could be a problem.
position is perfect if you look a place which is half way from airport and los cristianos. the area is extremely quiet and relaxing. the house is awesome. breakfast various.
