How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Mrs. Anne is a special person. She helped us with restaurant recommendations. Even though she lives with her children in the same location, she was an extremely discreet person. The only grade that can be given is 10

A short walk into the town and very quiet. Extremely clean room with a good ensuite shower. Value for money with coffee and tea making available at any time. Swimming pool available.

Only staying the one night!
Warm welcome, excellent instructions on accessing the property, perfectly clean, lovely room and ensuite with fabulous shower. The water, coffee/teas pastries were also a very welcome bonus. I had been staying in hostels and this was the perfect place to properly chill out and freshen up after being in shared dorms.

There wasn’t any thing we didn’t like
The host was lovely , very helpful and friendly . The bed was very comfy and the apartments were very well kept up to . In a good location not far from beach , supermarket and nearby fantastic chinese restaurant Hong Kong .

Our stay was really great. Perfect location, nice city, few beaches really close. Room was clean and cozy. We had everything we need. Anne was really helpful with everything, super friendly, had nice evening chat with wine with her. We could also use the kitchen if wanted. Basic suplies was free and always ready. Would absolutely choose again when visiting Tenerife in future

The accommodation was nice and clean, we had everything we needed, water and coffee were also available, the room had a new large shower, the facilities were perfect, close to the airport, the owner Anne was very pleasant, it is possible to use the pool, close to the center, shops and beaches, restaurants, thank you and we recommend Martina and Radim

Nothing.
Anne and her children were very friendly and I felt as comfortable if I was at home. The bed and pillow were lovely and I really appreciated the coffee machine and bowl of croissants. Very close to bus stops and not too far from the beach and restaurants. It is an uphill walk and I am quite unfit so that was a bit of a struggle but everything else was great. The pool looked clean and inviting but too cold for me in January. Great value for money.

Anne is an excellent host & welcomed me very warmly, gave me great tips on where to enjoy good meals etc. the room was very clean & comfy. Place is very close to the beach & shops, restaurants and all activities. Anne was very friendly and helpful & I would not think twice to book her place again! :-)

Amazing room !great value for money :)the hostess was so lovely ,friendly and helpful!everything was clean and tidy !the pool view is great and the decor so modern:) Will be going again soon!Easy to reach from the airport South Tenerife by bus 415 to San Isidro and then 408 to the room!

There's is nothing bad I can say about this place
The host was such a lovely lady she made us feel so welcome. Spoke very good English she was able to tell us all the good places to go around town and near by. The room was lovely so clean and the beds were so comfy I would defiantly recommend this place for couples or even family's. The pool out side is amazing and if going with a family the children are completely safe as there's no way to get out only out the main gate

The pool was great, since at the beach it can be very windy and the pool is a little bit more protected. The only thing that was a little bit weird was that there were no sun chairs for community use.
As a solo traveller I enjoyed my stay at Medanomar 2. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was also nice: quiet, comfy bed, easy check in, good wifi connection. The location is close to a bus station and a 10 min walk away from the beach. The free coffee and small fridge in the room were a plus.

Restrictions about bringing people in and kitchen was not the best experience for me, but the host is very nice though :)

Great room in a lovely family home. Nice big comfy bed and ensuite. Coffee machine with snacks was a bonus. Small balcony overlooking pool. Quiet location with secure entry. Good communication prior to arrival. Would definitely recommend.

The bed was a bit short for me (I'm 1m85). It gets pretty hot in the room at night. However, the host provided a fan, which was nice.
The host was fantastic. Kind, friendly, helpful. Croissants and coffee available all day, every day. Own bathroom. You can lock your room from both the inside and outside. Nice swimming pools. 10 minute walk to the beach and surf shops. 5 minute walk to a large supermarket (SuperDino).

The pool was closed after twilight. However, I like to swim in the late evenings and missed the chance to use the pool :(
Excellent value for money, I could lock the door from inside and the host was nice :) The hotel was only 7-minute walking distance from the beach.

Sometimes it was a bit noisy cause of the thinn walls in this house. But it didn’t distirb me much.
The room with a separte bathroom and a mini balkony and a fridge was very comfortable for me. Also the location is good for a stay in Medano. In 5-10 minutes you are in the center of El Med.
