When we arrived the room hadn't been prepared, but the lady on reception got this sorted straight away. Also, they sent a link via email for payment before arrival. I confirmed via the Booking.com chat, but considering the levels of internet fraud, I wasn't keen on this approach. I ended up paying on arrival, so all was good.

I tried not to dread the uphill walk back each evening but it was a bit much by day 3. Place could use some TLC.

Very comfy beds. Bright rooms with various opening options. Fans helped with the heat wave in October! Kitchen and washing machine were handy for coffee and self catered sandwiches. Well appointed. The view of Bilbao from the balcony was awesome. Nice place to sit with a drink.

The apartment was located on the periphery of the city so required a significant amount of walking. The sofa-bed was unstable and worn and the arm supports were practically falling off. The apartment in general was in need of a renovation.

For less than the cost of many hotels available in Bilbao during the time of our stay, the apartment offered both a private bedroom and a living room with sofa-bed, as well as a kitchen/dining area.

It does need air conditioning for summer. It was fine for us in September, but I wouldn't rent it in the summer months.

I was nervous based on reviews that I read after booking, but we had a good experience. The staff who checked us in was excellent. It was helpful to have a 2 bedroom space. It was clean and bright. It's quite close to the old part of town. I get what people were saying about safety, but it felt fine to me.

The only downside was the noise from the traffic but luckily it quieted during the night. The steep hill up the apartment could be difficult for anyone who is not mobile

It takes a little effort to use the online check in and check out process. At first I could not gain entry but once I telephoned someone was there within five minutes

Everything was great. Hard to find parking around. But it’s possible. Nice huge apartments with 2 bedroom. All necessary for cooking there is. Lots of towels. White sheets and pillows

Guests on the floor above were very noisy, I couldn't sleep because of the noise, I asked for a late check-out so I could rest more but was declined.

Floor was clean, but walls and some furniture showed some wear signs, as well as the sofa whose sews wore torn at some points. Defeats the purpose of using the nice tv. Although the tram is less then 5mins away within walking distance, if you have small kids might be more convenient a more central area. If you travel by car, parking out of hours might be tricky. Host should definitely try to make an agreement with underground parking nearby.

Nice apartment. Well lit and overall comfortable. Nice smart tv with streaming platforms less pleasant. Instructions from the host were clear, and communication was easy thought WhatsApp. It's close to the tram station which makes travelling to the city centre easy,

It is rated as 3 stars but needs some renovation. May be we were in a wrong moment but the district you have to cross on the way to the city and the area around apartments seems to be not very safe. We saw used syringes around and some very suspicious people and situations. So the appartments are ok , not far from old town. But I was glad to move to other location.
