Hot water was set so high that it was easy to scald oneself. It would be nice to alert guests to very noisy garbage pickup on Monday morning. If I had known, I would have closed window and shutter (didn’t work on one bedroom), turning on fan to add ventilation. The sleep dispruption was really hard as I was very tired from hard hiking trip.

Apartment was very clean and well-equipped, although corkscrew was a bit flimsy. Beds were comfortable, and couches had extra cushions and blankets to make tv-watching especially comfy. Superb location: grocery store and bakery nearby. Only a short walk to the riverside attractions and Casco Viejo.

Only downside was that the street lights were very bright at night perhaps block out shades could be installed in the apartment to help with sleeping.

We liked living in an authentic suburban location seeing the rythym of daily life and shopping at the local supermarket and cafe. A lot of daily activity we could see from the apartment windows. We particularly liked the travelator and lifts nearby which helped us get up the hills. The owner was most helpful, even arranging a taxi at the end of our trip.

Great spot very convenient for a short overnight in Bilbao we were able to have a good walk to and along the river. The apartment was clean and spacious and we were left bread butter and milk which was a bonus. There is a great little bar/cafe nearby

The only thing, and this is being a bit picky, was the heat in the apartment - there are lots of really good fans about which helped and when we was in the property you could leave the windows but at night when asleep leaving the windows open would not be ok, I know this was not actual ground floor but still a small worry - that's it, could not fault anything else at all.

Really can't fault this property, just one niggle which I will explain in the next bit, but bar that everything was perfect! The host Maria had even left us some supplies which were very much appreciated. The apartment had absolutely everything you should need, including teas/coffee/sugar/toiletries/cleaning equipment/a perfect TV with Netflix and lots of other extras too - a really exceptional host who keeps in contact with perfect instructions to follow to find the building and enter it, this really made things so much easier, massive 10 out of 10 for the host. I would highly recommend this apartment, the location and apartment itself are really really good!

Only issue was the heat. There were several fans but when it's 35 degrees outside air con would have been appreciated. I didn't look at this when booking so maybe my fault and heat was unexpected too, Otherwise all great.

Nice modern apartment close to river(although up a hill but you can take an escalator!) Good communication and was easy to get in. Some bread, milk, butter and jam plus tea and coffee left which was appreciated! Very clean and nice towels etc.

Nothing - it was all fantastic

The property was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfy, the shower was excellent and the host had provided lots of thoughtful touches like Barik (transport) cards, bread and milk and Netflix. The apartment was very well located. It was excellent value for money and we would definitely stay there again if visiting Bilbao.

The apartment located in city centre,we even didn’t use a public transport.Grocery shop and pharmacy just 5 metres from main door,Frutteria just around the corner,Eroski is 100 meters away,but I prefer Mercadonna-10-15 minutes to walk,and Ribera Market All attractions,like Guggenheim museum and old town 15 minutes away. Great location,especially if you go with small children,lots of playgrounds around. In apartment you can find everything what you need for comfortable stay,from sugar and milk till adaptor. Very safe area to walk even at night. Was very easy to deal with Maria,the owner of apartment,definitely will stay in the same place next time.

Because the apartment is in the first floor it is hard to open windows and shutters, which I would have liked to do much more. But besides that everything is lovely.

There was lots of love in the details, fresh bread when I arrived and milk and butter in the fridge.

Ok, it’s a warm appartement, but that was taking care of by the vans. (Not the table vans. But the big ones)

Perfect appartement with everything you need! Feels luxurious. From a bread, butter, confiture, coffee, thee,, nuts, cookies, olive oil and a bottle of wine when you arrive until the shampoo, shower gel, perfect towels. lots of pillows and bathrobes. Kitchen has everything! Good bed, a really (!) perfect shower and I can go on and on. WiFi, tv etc etc Location is perfect, everything on walking distance. According to the facilities the price is really good
