How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

These apartments are great value for money, they were spotless, the pool area was lovely and the onsite supermarket was very handy. They are in a great location, 10 min walk down to the beach front and Main Street.

Almost every single service that you usually take for granted is a paid extra. WiFi? 6€ per day. Safety deposit box? 3€ per day. Also there was a bad smell coming from the water drains in the bathroom. It was easily fixable by keeping the window slightly open, but something that they should fix nevertheless in an otherwise exceptional apartment.
Great apartments in front of the swimming pool, plenty of space and an awesome shower. Even the hairdryer was good, which is very rare. Very good quality/cost ratio.

Pool not open until 9 am - after 10 am some mornings. Had to depart by 7 am on last morning - evening before we asked reception to book a taxi, which they did helpfully. What they did not say was that reception would not be open at departure time so the keys and safe keys could be returned.
Quiet but lively. Others there were lovely. They were also there to relax, enjoy the sunshine and the facilities. Staff were polite and helpful. The apartments were very clean and cleaning staff were unobtrusive. The location is ideal - 5 minute walk downhill to the seafront/plaza with restaurants, bars & shops as well as the beaches. The return walk is uphill, quite steep.

Our room was quite exposed as it was where everybody went out and went to the shop on site, room 102
It was a very good price for the 3 nights we stayed, had a small gymnasium and nice pool area.

Not enough umbrellas at the pool and pool opens at 930. Prefer wee bit earlier. Maybe 8ish. Wifi is poor and expensive. Have to pay for safe... what decade are we in? Beds are only changed once per week. Suppose that's why they're so reasonably priced. But would defo book again

The staff were amazing especially the girls in the pool bar. Plenty of sun loungers by the pool. Fresh towels every other day. Spotlessly clean. Great little apartments with a supermarket on site.

There was just one grumpy receptionist one day but only saw him once the other 2 were ever so helpful and friendly along with the rest of the staff. Had a lovely break.
Nice rooms, small hotel,had a nice Bar with food service, which was very nice. Service was great from all the staff and little supermarket very handy.also baked fresh bread and croissants daily opening early till late. Would return 👍 could not here any noise in the room from outside once the doors n window were shut.

The day we arrived the doors in our apartment were freshly painted so we had wet doors for the first few days and the apartment smelt of paint which was unfortunate
Very clean lovely apartments close to the pool area and only a 5/10 minute walk from the strip. Staff were lovely and helpful at all times. Small supermarket in the hotel which was very handy aswell.

Whilst the swimming pool was great once you got in, access for me was very difficult. I am short, late 60s and have a back problem. The solid steps into the pool were extremely steep and I couldn't use them. The rail steps were very shaky and steep to the top. So I only got to use the pool once. Steep hill to main resort.
Lovely refurbished accommodation in a compact resort. Great bar for drinks and food. Handy supermarket adjacent to resort.
