How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They don’t change the coffee cups or provide a new one and when you ask for it takes to long and sometimes they don’t 😅

While the customer service is great, some of the staff can be impolite. Also, they stopped some of the small gestures that added to the experience.

The AC is centralized for the whole floor and the room felt stuffy most of the time and even after speaking with the reception to lower the temperature it stayed hot.
Great location- next to the famous Alex Cordobes cheesecake store and among many shopping stores. Very convenient and in walking distance to most places. Rooms are spacious

Always water at the bottom of the shower, not nice. Staff sometimes artificially friendly, in particular at the reception desk. Try to find and keep European staff.
Posh new hotel in exciting, posh ares of Madrid. Culture and shopping is around. Quiet rooms. Great lounge. Good room service.

For the cost, it would’ve been nice to have some exclusive amenities (I.e., breakfast included, free spa treatment, etc) but still a great experience overall! Room was a bit smaller than expected
This hotel was phenomenal! The customer service was excellent! The area was great, with a lot of surrounding high end stores, places to eat, and bars. The room was lovely! I do plan to return in the summer!

The restaurant does not have a proper menu and I cant see a phone menu. But other areas of the hotel have menus s silly policy, we did not eat in the restaurant for that reason. I heard other people complaining about it. You would think they have at least a few copies for people.

The main hall of the hotel is always very busy it looks like the hotel is a central meeting point in the area.
We liked the location and the service. The hotel is walking distance all main restaurants, shops and places in barrio salamanca. The staff is very nice always willing to help.

It was loud due to the club which I could hear the bass from the music in my room. Best to ensure not to have the room right above the hotel entrance

I did not like the bar as the interance of the hotel .. the reciption is behind the bar .. imagine going through the bar .. passing the DJ guy with your kids to reach the room elevator.. Noisy during the weekend.

The Spa is not the best, but the rest of the hotel made up for it.
Amazing Premius Room with lots of space, a separate dressing room, huge bed and biggest bathroom we have had in a city (sinks, toilet and shower/bathtub are separate small rooms connected to one another). The breakfast is healthy and wonderful, service is great, lounge/bar very stylish, and the location in Salamanca is perfect for shopping and getting anywhere quickly.

If I am being very picky: - I asked to be moved to a room with the same layout (whenever it becomes available) as my previous stay, the reception promised to look but didn’t bother to update me. - I am very sensitive to noise. There were few periods where I felt there was some maintenance work going on inside the hotel without any notification.
Loved the facilities! Very nice lobby area and rooftop, good gym and relaxing spa. The staff were friendly and responsive specially the room service. I also give the Conceirge full-mark for their amazing service
