The rooms are within a beautiful old building and can hear the water system throughout the night, this was fine as a deep sleeper.

Amazing customer service and location. The team were super helpful and good communication. The room was very clean and bed was super comfortable. The room is very basic but everything needed for a night after exploring the city.

The bed sheets could be cleaner.

The location is perfect to visit the city by feet. The bedrooms are comfy. There is a common room with tables and some stuff to prepare a simple breakfast.

There was no pair of sleepers. (Although i did not ask if would be possible to have) The room did not have a window.

There are a lot of things that i like about the property. To begin with the cleaning. Everyday the cleaning lady would come after we would live the apartment. They changed the towels everytime. The location was super. You would find all the attractions nearby, in 3 min by walking. (Metro, lots of restaurants and local attractions) Everything was functual, heat, cold and warm water. The bathroom was spacious. When i booked this apartment, i booked it for the price and for good reviews in general. I can say that the owner or who manages those rooms, make a difference for how they treat/respect the foreigners, for all the positive points of view i mentioned.

Everything was managed remotely. It would have been helpful to have a personal contact for advice about the local area.

The room was attractively furnished and very comfortable. It was nicely situated in the old city. We were able to leave our luggage at a storage facility nearby after we checked out.

Hadn't realised it wasn't a hotel with a reception and having no phone (it had been stolen out of my pocket in San Sebastian) I had no information on how to access the accommodation.

I had my phone stolen in San Sebastian before I reached Bilbao. I therefore never received any e-mails or texts advising me how to book in. I found the accommodation but could not access it as I hadn't received the info I needed to access it. A young Spanish man who lived in the same block as the Casual Blue phoned them for me and directed me to where I needed to be to gain access. This was in another street and up four flights of stairs! After that everything was fine. If I hadn't had help I'd have been on the street or had to find alternative accommodation. Casual Blue is in the old town and it was fantastic.

The toilet ran on a very noisy pump not regular plumbing. It was also very awkwardly placed, sandwiched at an angle between the shower and the wall. Quite a squeeze.

This room was spacious and clean. It was in the old town and walking distance to many bars and restaurants. We arrived early but was able to leave our luggage at a nearby hotel before check in.

I was disappointed that we couldn't get a taxi to the door, lugging around big suitcases was heavy going on cobbled streets. I was surprised there was no air conditioning and also the size of our room was very small. Not sure if the contents of the fridge in the common area was for everyone or it was other people staying at Casual Blue, so we didn't touch anything. Not sure if what I've mentioned was in the description on Booking.com. Could have been my own fault.

As there is no direct parking a discount or something would be very useful! Parking for a few days close to the hotel is expensive!

Great location, very friendly staff that made it super easy to check-in! Nice clean and comfortable room! The kitchen was very useful for us with our baby to be able to keep milk etc.

Prime location in the Old Town in a historic building. Clean and comfortable rooms. Kitchen was very useful. Small supermarket next door. Staff was wonderful, very helpful, quick and accurate. Highly recommended!

Would have been nice to have a window for some fresh air and shower unit needed fixing to hold the shower head in place.

Check-in was great, really clear instructions provided for self check-in and all worked perfectly. Great location. Clean room and well kept shared areas.

The room was not very clean (some chips crumbs on the floor in the room, and the small balcony was particularly dirty with sticky stains on the table, and many crumbs/dust on the floor; I don't think that balcony has been cleaned in a few weeks). Also, it was extremely hot and the small fan in the room was not working (and there's no AC).

The location is just perfect. Right in the center of old town, lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. Hard to find a better spot! The check in was also convenient (self-check-in, with good communication from the staff via the booking.com messaging platform). Beds were fairly comfy as well.
