The room didnt smell good. And some unpolite people that came late in the night drunk and screaming and waking up everyone (not the hotel fault).

The price was good and the room confortable.

No complaints. The breakfast was a bit disappointing but can’t complain for the price we paid!

We stayed for 4 nights in April. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location is great, just a minutes walk down to the beach. Room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. The staff kindly lent us beach towels and said we were welcome to borrow a sun shade parasol as well. Breakfast was ok, there was bread, ham, cheese, mini croissants and pastries and cereal. No cooked breakfast. Cheap drinks to buy from the bar and take up to your balcony.

No big issues. Thin walls, so you can hear your neighbours and the street outside very well. A little run down in some places, pooltable didn't work. Tiny shower head.

Great location near balneari 1, close to the beach and Dutch nightlife. I liked the hard beds, and the breakfast had good variety. For what you pay, good value.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable - OK for a night or two but no longer. No soundproofing - so you hear everything around you.

For the price it was really good, the room was clean, the breakfast had everything your body requires, carbs protein fats vitamines. the staff was welcoming helpful and polite, they also have some beach equipment for guests to use. it's very close to the beach and the bus from the airport stops so near the hotel.

the other guests in the hotel were very inconsiderate of the noise and additionally the walls are so thin so you can even hear the guest next door snoring 😕

Loud neighbours few doors furrher and also very loud people on the street at the night (we had windows to the street) – You can say that location is good at the day, but it is very bad for night, You can not sleep at all.

The breakfast was poor in choice but I value having the possibility of soy or free-lactoses milk. The neighbouring room was having sockets just above our bed and the noise was really disturning, especially at 6 am! Also, other visitors were playing a loud music in the morning with poor respect to other visitors of the hotel.

The room has no insulation at all, our neighbours also didn't bother at 4am to make little noise, and given that we were just up the stairs we were constantly hearing noise. However if we had also gone to the party it probably wouldn't have bothered us too much. The air conditioning did not work.

The staff are very friendly and concerned, the location is right by the beach and the area of bars and restaurants. The price for two people is very good, since they get the price of a hostel without sharing with more people. Bed very comfortable! The hotel has been refurbished and is well decorated. The decor is simple, Ikea decor, but given that the Arenal area is basically for people looking for beach and partying, they can't invest too much given that the probability of it being quickly ruined is very high.

After check-in, it turned out that in our 3-person room there are only 2 beds and we slept one night in separate rooms, but the staff was very nice and helpful and on the second day they added one more bed :) So not a big deal for us.
