The bed was a spring mattress and for me it was a little uncomfortable but that may have been just my personal preference.

The Location and accommodations were excellent! The Staff made my family feel like family. Everyone was friendly and accommodating!

The room was a little smaller than we have had compared with others we experienced on our 4 week adventure. The facility was connected to a restaurant and we asked if we could purchase a break according to a menu posted outside the entrance door. Oh no we have not offered any breakfast in over a year. Well then remove your outside menu

Greatest location in the center of the old town. Parking was easy to find just up the hill. The room and bathroom were very clean

No fridge or tea making facilities in the room and as the restaurant for breakfast didn’t open till 11am and not much in the town open early made it difficult.

We had a problem in the first room with the shower which had been reported by the previous occupier. Fortunately the owner of the Samar bar, which is attached to the hotel, stepped in to help us when the hotel owner couldn't be contacted. They arranged for us to move to another room.

The location is perfect, the facilities in the room were good, check in was simple.

I realize it is a very old building, that being said it has a bit of a musty smell.

The bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were great. Robe and slippers provided! Nice bathroom with great shower head. Opted out of breakfast . Sorry we missed the castle, it closed right before we got there. Would have been a great sunset view from there.

A beautiful old stone building in the old part of the town. Sympathetic conversion to a hotel. The rooms were a good size and well designed. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the no-contact check in process worked seamlessly.

Everything was perfect. The staff was amazing. The building and installations are beautiful. The room is cozy, spacious and super comfy. The location was great as well. I have a baby and the staff was extremely kind and caring with us. The breakfast was also very good, simple and delicious. I’d stay here again for sure. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was not much to get excited about. Just some bread and jam with juice and coffee. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially if you arrive late on the day before market day as we did.

Beautiful old Rurale in a picturesque medieval hilltop fortress town with an interesting museum of "Giants" and castle. The room is very comfortable and well appointed with modern features. Really a nice place!

The only downside was the lack of parking for a car. My husband parked along side the road behind the area where other cars were parked. There was no signage indicating that it wasn’t public parking. The next morning there was a ticket on our windshield saying it was only for the apartments on the hill above it. Of course, this is not the fault of our lodgings…just a cautionary tale.

The central location was fabulous. I loved the uniqueness of the decor with antiques and stone walls. It was comfortable, clean and the wifi was fast.

Parking can be free, but it isn't at the hotel; it's up the street a bit and is basically just street parking.

1. The checking in system was a nightmare! There was no reception so a few days before a message was emailed to check in on line, then one would receive a code to use on a keypad to enter the hotel and the room. The site wouldn't respond, despite many attempts. Nor was the phone answered. We spent several days imagining turning up and not being able to get into the hotel, which we'd paid for. Very stressful! At the last minute someone answered the phone but communication was difficult. The owner met us to give us the code and then disappeared. 2. There was no restaurant, bar, terrace or breakfast, as advertised...partly the reason for choosing this hotel. 3. The cleaner was rude to us because we hadn't left earlier, though we were well within the departure time stated on our booking.
