As above, so much potential to be superb, but falls short in some frustrating areas (frustrating because they could easily be addressed/ could have been done when designing). The cabana was decorated with false rose petals and balloons with ‘love’ and ‘love hearts’. We didn’t like this, but the LED candles were nice for dinner. Our cabana didn’t have a real parking spot, it was a patch of grass on a steep hill which was very muddy in torrential rain. We felt this could have been made easily by continuing the tarmac road made to serve the cabanas. We were disappointed by the pool, which only has space for 2 people to stand, definitely no swimming. We removed the many leaves and debris ourselves. Although obviously not the cabanas fault, it is not an easy location to walk around due to the very steep hills and bad roads so plan dinner and trips carefully! Also, only one small mirror in the bathroom. My partner used the mirrored table to do her makeup

Lovely views, great facilities in the room and provided the option to eat in the cabanas which we needed. We didn’t feel able to leave the cabanas by foot or even car due to the steep hills and poor roads in a thunderstorm the night we stayed, but the facility of the hot tub, terrace and dinner delivery meant we shad a lovely evening. Great breakfast and easy check in/ out with quick responses via WhatsApp. This place has a lot of potential to be a great luxury stay

limited kitchen , no washing up liquid or T towel, no bowl’s & only 1 knife between two. The smell of chicken poo, as our cabin was the top one next door to a chicken run ( not part of the Cabin property, so outside their control!)

We booked a 2 night stay here after 5 weeks walking from albergue to albergue on the Camino and chose for some luxury, and it certainly delivered. The views of the bay are breathtaking, and you can enjoy them directly from the hot tub.

The architecture does not match the kitschy interior decoration. The fact that there's not a normal shower so we don't need to spend 300 liters of water every time we want to shower.

The view was great, the small swimming pool was fun and a pleasant surprise. The room was perfectly clean. A great place to breathe and have some rest closing our vacations. Also interesting to explore the coast more to the south and not staying the whole time in Fisterra.

At $130 I thought this was overpriced - it is advertised as beachfront and it is NOT. It is actually a 15 min walk from the beach and a 7 minute walk from any restaurant. I saw a lot of pre-Covid reviews about the great restaurant and room service. Yes, the hotel offers food, but it is so inconvenient to reserve ahead of time because I didn’t know how long I would be out exploring and what time I would be back. I booked thinking there would be a restaurant available whenever I needed, since this location is pretty far away from the center of fisterra (20min walk). Food and beach access was very inconvenient for this price point. As a solo woman traveler I was scared to have a late dinner in the city and walk back alone to this location in the dark, so I ended up just buying snacks from the grocery store because I missed the deadline to order dinner. I didn’t reserve breakfast because I wanted to sleep in and didn’t know what time I would be awake, but when I walked to the closest restaurant it was closed. so it was just very frustrating to have such limited options. If I had known these details I would have booked elsewhere, and I think the expectations from what was advertised vs the reality led to disappointment. I think another reviewer mentioned this, but it does feel like they are using Covid as an excuse to offer less service, which again, would not be an issue if it was priced appropriately.

The view was gorgeous and the best part of my stay. The mini champagne welcome bottle was also a very nice touch. The jacuzzi tub was very nice to soak in after a month on the Camino.
