Beautiful location and property with gracious hosts. It was our base to explore the area with our car or head into Barcelona via a nearby train station with free parking. Loved coming back each evening to such a gorgeous environment.

Honestly nothing Everything was just perfect.

Cal Mestre Casa Rural is a wonderful place, very relaxing and has a stunning view on local vineyards with a private pool. We called it a hidden gem in a very traditional Spanish village. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with luxurious bathrooms. The breakfast was very rich in local fresh products and ingredients. We absolutely loved everything here, and will definitely come back again. The hosts are very friendly, and offer great hospitality.

Beautiful location in a small village in Penedes wine region. Set on a hill with great views over the surrounding vineyards. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating with good communication.

A beautiful rural retreat with some lovely touches. The decor was very tasteful and the bedrooms were comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the pool area which, despite the unseasonal rain, provided a lovely area to swim and relax. A delicious breakfast, served by our hosts, on the terrasse with amazing views of the region. We particularly loved that it was dog friendly, apart from around the swimming pool area. Overall, a lovely stay.

Natalie and Michael are some of the most wonderful hosts I've had the pleasure to stay with. And their hotel is one of the most beautiful and comfortable stays we have ever experienced. The view from our patio was breathtaking! Additionally, the homemade dinner and breakfast were perfect and the best meals we had in Barcelona. I could not recommend more highly including Cal Mestre Casa Rural in any vacation to Barcelona.

Maybe only small negative point, there is not a lot to do in the village, so you need a car to get around.

We had an amazing stay, very friendly owners, who also provide an excellent diner and breakfast. The room was very clean, it's a very old building with lots of character.

We felt that the hosts had certain expectations for how guests should behave that weren’t communicated which led to some awkward experiences for us as guests.

We stayed in the Cave Room which was absolutely spectacular. The pool was beautiful and the view, stunning.

The swimming pool area could be more clean & comfortable and the dinner could be improved very much.

The accomodation is very close to Barcelona by car. The suite is very nice and the views from the hotel are amazing.

the house is absolutely stunning and decorated with great taste. the view from our private balcony was amazing. the hosts are doing everything to make you feel at home. spending a warm Spanish summer evening by the pool with a glass of Cava in the sunset was magical.

The location was quiet and peaceful. Very nice to have a pool and the large bathtub. The space was rustic with updated items and recently renovated. The owners were very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet space to get away from Barcelona or the cava houses this is the spot to stay at.

Maybe the lights are very warm but too dim to read a book in the bed for example...

The decoration and illumination are exquisite. The spaces are extremely warm and comfortable.
