Honestly can’t think of one thing I didn’t like

The breakfast was fantastic. Served promptly by the friendly staff, and everything was fresh. The only suggestion I’d have would be a choice of cooked option some days.

After arrival the floor was not so clean, found not our hair on my socks:) the location, far from the city centre, but close to the beach, so I can’t decide it was good or bad location

Lovely bathroom, did like the housekeeping quality. All you need for a few days. Thr hotel is close to the beach. Grosery shops around and nice restaurants

Staying in hotel California was like stepping into a movie set - it's a very authentic place. I loved the decor and ambiance! The room was okay, comfy bed and nice clean bathroom and it was cleaned every day. The staff were really nice and friendly - it's generally a very chill place. I had breakfast which was almost always the same every day but I liked it. The location of the hotel is perfect - walking distance to Malagueta beach and city centre - the bus also stops right in front of the hotel, so it's really well connected. Great value for money!

Cosy and authentic place, “Spanish” style. Helpful and nice staff. If you are not searching for some chic stay, this place definitely worths it.

Little small room but other than that all was good

Staff they were really helpful and friendly helped me fix my stuff offered to pack me breakfast for my trip and we could leave our bags while went to caminito. The room although little small was really nice. And good brakfast

The furniture on the roof terrace needs a refresh. But it’s detail🤔

It is a top standard for a two-star hostel. Just pack towels - they don't change every day. I also ordered a car rental through the reception. Everything flawless and perfect. Beach is close. There are grocery stores and great restaurants nearby. It's a place I'd love to come back 🌞👍

Isolating of the room

Location-near the beach, restaurants, bus station, center is cca 20 min by walk, supermarket is 3 min far away Staff- very kindly I travel a lot, and this hotel deserve 5 stars and when you checked out, they can keep your languages and also you can take a shower when ever you want. I will be back again.

View from the room wasn't the best, but we had no time to look at it more than 1 min :) Did not bother us at all.

Wonderful place and very convenient spot to move around. Friendly staff. Very close to the beach. Alcazaba castle is just 10 mins away by foot, while the bus stop is a few meters away. Room was extremely comfortable, breakfast was wonderful and fresh. Value for money. All around a great pick for your Malaga experience!

The location was walking distance to everything. From city centre to the marina and other tourist area. There are plenty of restaurants and easy access with public tranaports.

My room was changed from a double to single and was quite small compared to the originally booked with a 1,5person bed.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Malaga. It was close to the beach, easy and quick public transport access to the city center.

Nothing really. Would have been nice if there was a bar, but not necessary as plenty in the area.

Breakfast was delicious, we didnt book to include breakfast but tried it the first day and it was so delicious we had breakfast both days of our stay. We were also allowed to shower on our last day as our flight was not until late which was greatly appreciated.

The breakfast was very limited for people that can't eat muesli and yoghurt, certain fruit and strong cheese and meats. Needs to be reviewed in my opinion.

It wasn't very clean (some hair left in the bathroom, minimal dust). Shampoo+body wash in a single container for the shower, rather cheap feel.

Great location, 5 mins to beach by foot, 30 sec to bus station which gets you into the city as well as beaches further east. Location felt safe even in the dark. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Cute decoration. Comfortable bed with orthopedic pillows.
