The condition was a little in need of renovation, e.g. the airco/heating was not working, loose towel rail and slight mold in the shower. In addition, there is a huge construction site in the building next door which caused a lot of noise pollution very early in the morning (nobody mentioned this).

We expected a balcony because it said "terrace" on booking, which in fact was just a big window - but that didn't bother us any further. Please hang a big mirror so people are able to look at their outfits before they leave, that would be the only thing I can criticize.

Very central located, not far (not even 5 minutes) from La Rambla. The host gives you a little sneak-peak of where to go and how to get there. Nice "lobby" area, where snacks and coffee are always available and free. The host is fluent in English, so you don't have to worry about misunderstandings. Easy access to your room, The room itself was not the biggest, like expected. The bathroom was small but enough for a 4-day-trip, always clean and towels available. Comfortable beddings and the height of the ceilings was a dream for everybody who's into architecture. A bit hear-through but not noisy (especially not from the streetside where a few restaurants and bars are).

The location is great. The primary reason we chose it was that we needed to take A2 to the airport at 4:00 am when the tram didn't work yet. It turned out that this hotel perfectly met our needs. We self-checked out and reached to A2 station in 4 minutes by walking. And Our room is super quiet and spacious. We also love the style of its decoration. The staff are friendly and nice. They are very supportive.

The lighting and mirror situation could be better, ie a better light due makeup in the bathroom and a full length mirror somewhere…but these are minor issues. The shower was a bit small and would benefit from a slight amendment to the shower head so it can be directed. Also drainage was very slow.

Location and space available was perfect. It was good to be able to get tea and coffee too and have a study area/resting area too, in addition to a spacious bedroom and ensuite.

There was no toilet paper holder. No where to hang your bath towels. Bathroom lights needed changing. The reception room was never opened for morning coffee as advertised. No washing machine.

The shower did flood the bathroom floor on 2 occasions & the toilet was running when I checked out & no one was around to tell. (I left a note for the staff though)

The rooms were located close to everything. The restaurant across the street (I believe was called EL Goup or close to that) was very convenient to go to for morning coffee & breakfast. The egg & cheese bagget was my go to & the evening dinners were wonderful & just across the street.

We made our trip, especially for La Merce and since we stayed from Wednesday to Sunday we had 2 days that were not part of the festival. The thing is NO ONE informed us that the building has some ongoing construction work, right next to our room. In those 2 days, we couldn't sleep past 8 AM since there were drilling and smashing noises. This was very inconvenient and I consider that we should have been informed about this prior to our landing in Barcelona. We paid 700 Euro for 4 days and we expected at least a good morning's sleep.

I liked the location of the apartment, very close to the main attractions and within walkable distance of El Gòtic. The room was clean, we had new towels each day, and no issues with the bathroom (like lack of hot water or clogged drainage).

The value you get for this stay is unparalleled. The location puts you within walking distance of all the tourist sights and many food places. If you’re the type to be out most of the day getting the most out of the city, then this stay will satisfy your needs. It was so convenient to always be able to walk back to our room and drop off our stuff midday or change clothes or grab more things. We got lucky and had a little private balcony section which means we could relax outside our room often and enjoy the street view. We like city sights and sounds so being in the middle of it was perfect for us.

We have no complaints about the hotel.

The hotel and the room were very nice and it was very clean. Our room was cleaned every day and everyone at the hotel was very friendly. The location is also very good. You can walk to almost everything and there are many shops nearby. Another handy thing is that there is a fridge and a coffee machine. You can use them at any time. You have to share the fridge with the other guests, but all other guests were very respectful and nice.
