Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Fantastic campsite with excellent service on arrival. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we required including fridge/freezer, microwave & air-conditioning. Also outside furniture to sit and relax.

United KingdomNot much to do in the local area. Pool looks great but is often busy and not very deep. So more like 4m X 2m. Angus burger was not very good, And chips were probably old & cooked twice. As most were quite hard. If I were at a restaurant I would have sent it all back. But it was €8.5 and was very hungry...nice bacon though. House keeping asked me to go back to clear a couple of bottles.... before returning my €50 deposit. Felt a bit juvenile asking me to go back to do this.. surely this should be included. Quite a basic really... The time wasn't set properly on my AC remote so I couldn't set the AC on timer properly (I did attempt to sort it, but I couldn't manage to set the correct time) not a biggy but maybe an easy fix for the staff Adding permanent seating outside the barrel would be a big plus! Imo. And maybe a proper retractable clothes line. An outside light. And an extra light inside the barrel as only one in the bed area. Specials / food of the day board not in use. And no clear menu displayed anywhere. Hand menus could be made a bit more concise.
Well layed out camp site with good shower and bathroom facilities and a good amount of cubicles. Bar staff seem friendly and proactive. Well lit at night and not too loud in general Good amount of sun loungers and comfy. Small on site shop reasonably priced, as well as cigarette machine. Pretty good WiFi, I could log on in the barrel I was in (157) Ok price I guess. But preplan days out if a solo traveller. For families it is probably spot on. And entertainment hadn't started yet as I went early in the season as it were. Comfy bed and nice pillows etc (I'm 6'6") AC wasn't too loud and could leave it off till about 10am where it gets quite warm in the Barrel without it. Not sure if it would be the same In the hotter months tho. Small laminated menus are also printed in English.
