I was expecting the room to be bigger, with a different interior that was shown on the room selection. However it was not a big issue, we were happy with the room we had overall.

Nestled within the heart of the town, this hotel was a delightful experience. A charming and elegant atmosphere from the start. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, we really appreciated their help with making reservations, sharing recommendations and making our stay effortless.

The rooms were very warm and the air conditioning did not allow for cooling, apparently because it was the beginning of the season (April). When asked, guest services brought a fan instead, but it still meant having to have the window open all day and night to cool the room down. Both our room and our friends rooms were very warm even at night, and keeping the window open was not ideal since the hotel faces a relatively busy street and other guests would smoke outside our window.

Lots of teething problems and a hotel operation still trying to find its flow & individual character. Currently feels like a generic international luxury hotel rather than a Mallorcan destination. Breakfast was slow and we had to ask multiple times for simple items (toast, juice, coffees). There is a sizeable building site next door and drilling and sawing noise is inescapable from the pool during the day. The pool & garden feel very busy, beds are quite close together and there are a very limited number of parasols. Reception and room service communication is disjointed and leads to having to make or recieve several calls every time we ordered. Parking is expensive and the drivers' seat had to be put back into position every time we used the car as the valet had adjusted and not returned. We had to have several items on the final bill corrected including the room rate. Needs work to justify high prices.

Excellent food & wine, luxurious rooms, beautiful spa area & staff were friendly. The manager was flexible when we asked to check out a few days early.

We booked our stay online as a family with a new born baby. The reservation system didn’t indicate that it was “adults only” accommodation. When we arrived on the day at the hotel to check in we got told by front office that we cannot stay with them anymore because they have a “no children” policy. It was quite shocking. They didn’t care and just talked past us to serve another customer. Our happy holiday got turned upside-down. They delivered this message to us as we were standing in the foyer carrying our child and suitcases. We didn’t feel hospitality from them, we just felt like a number, a nobody. After some arguing about how hard it is to book an emergency hotel while everything in the area is fully booked, I showed them how their booking system was literally setup to accept bookings with children, which was the cause of this headache. They called their leadership team and booking manager and said they could make a “goodwill” exception for us due to the error on their system. We just needed to make sure we “kept the baby quiet” and that we’re sensitive to other guests because we aren’t technically allowed to be at the hotel.

Swimming pool aside, the pool area felt stark & in keeping with a lesser hotel. Breakfast was fair, but not up to standard. Dinner in Ocre restaurant, pretentious & not of great quality. Kitchen needs a appraising.

The staff were amazing. The rooms had comfy beds & good facilities. The refurbishment of the old building excellent.
