Carlos was so cheerful and kind. He picked us up and delivered us back to the Camino path at the precise arranged times. We really appreciated the tapas he provided with our wine, as it was our dinner. :) Wonderful breakfast with plenty to carry for a snack later. Great for Camino walkers. Thank you!

There was a cleaning product smell in our room when originally entered. There is also temporary construction going on next to our room.

Although the facility is 2km off the Portuguese Spiritual camino, they provide transportation. The facility is very peaceful and well appointed. They offered dinner for 20 euros which was delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

2km from the Camino path but that's no problem.

We got a fantastic welcome from Anna. She collected us from the monastery. We ate dinner there and it was lovely. In the morning we left early because it was warm and Anna prepared a lovely picnic for us instead of breakfast. A really lovely quiet place to stay.

Carlos and his family are THE BEST! He picked me up at the monastry, took me in his Renault 4 to the pilgrimsblessing, picked me up again and after VERY NICE BREAKFAST, brought me back on track. THE PLACE to stay for pilgrims!

This place was fabulous. It's beautiful and quiet and the hosts will pick you up from the monastery, however we decided to walk up. The rooms were lovely and we stayed for dinner, which was really nice. Breakfast too, was exceptional. There were lots of nice touches and would definitely stay again!

It is very near a noisy square. People drunk and singing loudly outside til 2 am on a Sunday night. Quieter if you close the window.

An amazing place. Loved everything. Great staff. Nice bed. Nice little kitchen area with small fridge, coffeemaker, sink, dishes. No cooking.

Beautiful room and setting, well-appointed throughout. Lovely terrace, and breakfast was superb (best coffee in Spain so far). Quiet night. We are walking the Camino Portuguese and Ana picked us up at the Monastero and dropped us off at the Camino route the next morning. I was also driven to town to attend the pilgrims' welcome at the Monastero. My partner wasn't feeling well and was given ibuprofen by staff.

Unfortunately due to the time of the year (early March), it was rather chilly both in the evening & morning & the bathroom was quite damp.

This property is situated in a very quiet, rural area with views of the surrounding countryside. The hotel is extremely clean & all areas are tastefully decorated. The room was comfortable with all modern amenities. We ate a very tasty meal in the restaurant in the evening & the staff were extremely friendly, helpful & accommodating. Breakfast was also good.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, the room was cozy, the property is quiet and peaceful, and the free breakfast was very good! I feel like I read somewhere in the listing that it is 6 miles from Pontevedra, which isn’t true…it’s 30 minutes away. But it is in a lovely forested area and we were not disappointed.

Everything was perfect. Sadly the beautiful wax stamp from Carballo on my Credencial cracked and fell off a few days later... my loss!

We liked everything! The kindness of the owners, in particular Ana who picked my sister and I up from the monestery and returned us the next morning to continue our camino. The accommodation is very beautiful and peaceful, and perfect after a long walk. The breakfast was wonderful as was the dinner. Loved the wine! The resident cat was very cute and friendly. 😄 Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

We received the most welcoming and friendly service from the ladies at this accommodation. The food we were served was superb, and they took special care of my spouse who is gluten intolerant. (and as you all know, this part of Spain is all about bread!) As pilgrims, the ladies took us after breakfast to the day's start of the Camino.

The only downside was the 30 minute walk from the monastery, but the host made up for that by giving us a lift down the road in the morning.

The overall setting of the inn is beautiful and we were able to decompress after a long day on the Camino on the lovely patio. A wonderful dinner was provided onsite, which was awesome, as I didn't want to move my body an inch more than necessary...ha! A very filling and tasty breakfast was provided and then we were whisked down the road to start our day of walking where we left off, along with some snacks. Wonderful service and thoughtfulness!

The hosts were wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. We were walking the Camino de Santiago and were unsure about a place to stay in the small mountain town. It was great to have this option to reserve and know we had a place. Plus the gave us a ride back to the camino in the morning!!
