It was so nice everything. And the owners were so friendly and they made such good food. One of the best places for me on the Camino. Can highly recommend.

The only thing Lucia couldn’t control is the weather, unfortunately for us it was raining but otherwise the views were excellent and if it was sunny it would be extraordinary!

My father and I are pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, which travels right past the property which makes it a perfect spot to stop for the night! And for two weary pilgrims staying here was a dream come true. It was so clean and so comfortable and Lucia was above and beyond accommodating! She did our muddy laundry, gave us slippers so she could put dryers in our shoes and after two days of wet feet, we loved walking out with dry shoes! She made us a wonderful traditional dinner and her husband made us a lovely breakfast in the morning! Both meals were absolutely stunningly prepared and delicious! It was an amazing stay with lovely beds and a wonderful shower! We wish we could have stayed longer as they truly make you feel so comfortable and welcome! The views from the patio were spectacular and if it had been summer it would have been brilliant for sitting out and enjoying the Spanish countryside! We envy you your stay with Lucia and Sebastian, they made us feel like family and were true angels along our Camino!

This is a wonderful place. Sebastian and Lucia provide so much tender care. They provided a lovely meal with dishes and wines representative of different parts of Spain. The breakfast was amazing. Everything they do is with great attention to detail and it’s also nice to see how beautifully they function as a couple. This is a must stay location!!

This place is truly exceptional in every way. I booked it with the expectation of having a treat and I was not wrong. Lucia greeted us with slippers and welcomed us to treat their beautiful home as if it was our own. Their home is stunning, both inside and out. There are several outside areas which enjoy spectacular views of the countryside, was wonderful to spot birds of prey and storks. It is a place you want to arrive early and spend time lazing around. A well stocked fridge with an honesty box means you can help yourself to a drink anytime. Lots of games were provided which my son and I made use of. Lucias wonderful husband cooked the most exquisite feast for us, full of local delicacies and such a variety of healthy, tasty dishes. Was just what was needed after a week walking the camino. Breakfast was included and was best I've ever had. Such attention to detail. The warmth and passion of this special couple makes them the perfect hosts. Would love to return again one day for longer.

Amazing. Lucia and Sebastian were so welcoming, kind, and helpful. We had an amazing night with a great dinner, and a breakfast banquet suitable for royalty. The house is gorgeous, the rooms are really comfortable. We did not want to leave. Plan your camino around staying here if you can!! 😉

Nothing here to dislike. Everything was great.

The hosts were extraordinary in their support and help to us as we walked the Camino do Santiago. We were having trouble with finding and then booking accommodation in Portomarin for the next night and were limited in our ability to communicate in Spanish. They spoke English, and when we told them our problem they immediately contacted the next booking site and worked out our reservation and a taxi to transport us to it ( a 17 kilometer trip) once we arrived in Portomarin. I honestly don't know how we would have found a place to stay and a way to get to it without their help. They were very gracious and generous. Before we left the next morning they served a beautiful and delicious breakfast with fresh fruits and berries, meats, cheese, pastries, fresh orange juice, tea, and coffee. Also, the room was excellent, and there was a beautiful veranda with a view of the countryside. There was a washing machine and access to upscale snacks included. When we were ready to get back on the Camino the next morning the host drove us back to the spot where we had left off the day before. (Note: Acougo is across the road from the Camino, but we did not realize that and had walked past it into Sarria the day before.). We could not have been happier or more fortunate than staying here. One of our very best experiences on the Camino.

Everything was perfect.

On our cycling trip from the Netherlands to Santiago de Compostela we stayed in 24 different locations, from simple albergues to 4starhotels. Staying at Casa Acougo was by far the best of all 24. It was like staying with friends, in a wonderful quiet location , a beautifully decorated and comfortable house with amazing views from the terrace. Sebas and Lucia were the most welcoming hosts who helped us with everything we needed and spoiled us with fruit and cake ;) Our bike was safe in the garage. We would love to come back. Thank you so much for everything Lucia and Sebas, we wish you both the very best !
