Some outside space would have been nice, other than at the front door area. But, this didn't spoil our stay and isn't possible anyway.

The host was absolutely fabulous. Although Paula was in Madrid, looking after her sister, her contact and communications were excellent. Paula was very friendly and accomodating. The one bed apartment was spacious and well kitted out. The bed large and comfortable. The shower was good.

This lovely place was perfect. We were so sad to leave and will return. The home had everything that you could need and was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, great shower and the host provided beach chairs and an unbrella. There was a little patio set also. The spectacular promenade and beach are a minute away. Great shopping, restaurants and lots of very kind local people. Fantastic! Our host was the kindest we have ever met in many years of travel. She was kind, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We will not forget.

Nothing to report here. We did our research so knew about the tram and parking - approx 5 minutes from the apartment. No problems.

Space indoors and outside - we loved the balcony for breakfast and the garden during the day. Very clean and comfortable. We used the washing machine and did some cooking - all equipment worked really well.

Not really a problem but if being picky everything gets covered in white specs, am guessing from when tram goes over the paint on walls flakes? Tram noise didn’t bother us.

Apartment was spacious and well presented with all the amenities. The uniqueness of the property added to the pleasure of our stay in this hidden gem on the Costa Blanca. Parking was easy and close by. The host was exceptionally helpful and provided lots of suggestions for our stay.

Just returned from 10 nights at the smaller house that makes up part of Casa de Agua. It is a fantastic large room with kitchen and seating area just inside the door and then up a couple of steps to the really large bedroom and bathroom area. A small covered seating area outside the front door which looks straight down a pedestrianised cobbled street to the main road and beachfront. Paula the host was really helpful and friendly throughout and the cleaning team did a great job as well. Excellent location, really handy for the beach, station and Old Town and really nice local people living on the street as well.

Paula is an amazing host, we loved the house and it was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. So many extra little touches that you don’t normally get with self catering. Very impressed. Noticed previous comments about the tram, but it wasn’t a problem for us and it lasts seconds.

The apparent is well-equipped (with everything one may need!), clean, fancy and cozy. It really makes you feel like home! It is located in 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and old town centre as well the 3 minutes from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the exquisite interior, perfect location, unmatched comfort, impeccable cleanliness, and above all, the exceptional service provided by our host, Paula. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of amazing. Paula had thought of every detail to make our stay truly memorable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, adorned with an abundance of pillows, ensuring a restful sleep every night. The house was stocked with a generous supply of utilities, soaps and cleaning products. We were even pleasantly surprised to find a fully equipped laundry area, complete with a washing machine, detergents, and a drying rack. It was evident that no effort was spared to ensure our comfort and convenience. Communication with Paula was a breeze, as she was always prompt and helpful in addressing any inquiries we had. Her dedication to making our stay enjoyable was evident in her warm and friendly demeanor. We were truly touched when Paula surprised us with a basket of freshly picked oranges and fruits from her own garden. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly welcome and appreciated. I hadn’t realised that I had booked the basement apartment,I thought it was the property above.The basement is very old & so suffers from damp & needs de-humidifiers on when you are not there.I didn’t like the fact that there were no windows to look out of & really no place to sit out.

The apartment is very unusual & very spacious.The decor was clean & the apartment was equipped with all the necessary essentials.Paula the host was very helpful & gave us a lot of good recommendations of where to eat & what to do.Was nice to have a complimentary bottle of red & tea & coffee in room.Location is very good within east walking distance of beach & old town.

Beautiful apartment. Lovely decor. Superb communication with host,Paula. So kind and helpful. Apartment close to beach, felt in heart of community...so Spanish. Local bakery ..2 doors up. Great for fresh bread,rolls etc

the windows are high up the walls near the ceiling and only at the front so you couldn’t actually see out of the room. there was only a tiny snug outside the front door if you wanted to sit outside. you can also hear the trains running underneath Altea - they don’t start until about 6.30 and finish at 11 and didn’t worry us as we were out a lot but hadn’t expected to hear them.

the room we stayed in was similar to a cellar - it was lovely whitewashed walls and had been finished really nicely. it was located 5 minutes walk from the seafront of Altea and a 10 minute walk uphill to the old town. it was extremely well equipped and comfortable with lots of space

No air con in bedrooms only living room but plenty of fans

Fantastic location right in the heart of the town . Beautiful town 2 minutes to shops restaurants and 5 minutes from beach. House was lovely everything we needed. Lovely court yard. great communication with Paula booked last minute travelled by tram from Alicante 3 euros. Paula got back to us immediately and we were delightedwith Casa Agua.

Noise
