There was no curtain on one window so we had to use a blanket to cover it up. But overall very nice place.

Location was absolutely perfect (next to the cathedral) and the hotel staff was very friendly. You can park your car to offload luggage, but then will have to go and park it outside of the fortifications (5 min walk, so very easy).

Awfully slow WiFi (1 Mbps up- and downspeed) and a pretty worn down kitchen that offers just the bare minimum. Enough for a day but in this state the kitchen is not suited for a family for a week.

Breathtaking old house with a wounderfull patio. Solid beds and quite spacious clean rooms. Shower delivers constant warm water.

Very much NOT for people with mobility/accessibility issues - there are a loooot of stairs - but it was great for us! Only one key provided for a group of 4... that was very inconvenient, although we did manage to get another halfway through our stay. Outer door can't be unlocked from inside without a key. This is a safety issue.

Location was extremely convenient to everything in Barri Vell and rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful building. Nice kitchen. Really a fantastic experience.

Lovely romantic place to stay in a Middle Ages wonderful restored place. Spacious room and bathroom. Nice entrance and private garden. Just near the Cathedral in old town.

The head bumping potential was high when using the toilet. The shower stall needs to be caulked since it leaks out the front and back.

The location was great for accessing historical, old town attractions. Many stairs and ramps were to our liking for some exercise while we explored. Good access to restaurants and shops. The room was rustically comfortable. The bathroom was great for 1.5 weeks due to having a fridge. The decks and windows were amazing.

The kitchen and the kitchen facilities were quite tired and basic. There was no kettle, and so we used a little pan for making coffee. We used the kitchen just for that. If you are planning on cooking, then you will have a better chance with somewhere else.

What a pretty place! Although it's on the hil (steps) and was quite tricky to reach with the bags/laggages on foot, the location is great and easy access to from the shops and restaurants/cafés to the old city wall and the cathedral etc. We also enjoyed popping into the bakeries first in the morning and then having breakfast in the garden.

The check-in is at another location (nearby) and the room is really good but not a ten.

The historic location and atmosphere of the neighborhood was unreal and superbly unique. The room itself is in a jewish house dating back 1,500+ years. It is spacious, comfortable and attractive. I've only not given it a ten because the check-in is at another location (nearby) and the room is really good but not a ten. There are lots of neary restaurants and this historic town centre has to be seen to be believed- unreal.

The floor could and should have been clean and weren't but everything else was perfect. The bells ring every half hour all the way through the night and morning so its beautiful, great if your catching an early morning flight from airport and not intending to sleep in the first place but its not somewhere you'll sleep much in

location perfect...next to the cathedral so central to the old town area and all its charms...the building itself is steeped in history and gives that feeling the second you see it....the apartment itself was basic but functional with everything we needed for an overnite stay.

It was exceptionally hot during our stay in Girona and the lack of air conditioning made it a bit uncomfortable, however this did not take away from the overall positives.
