The rooms are below a fruit vendor. The vendor runs both a fruit market and a warehouse for fruit. The noise of the moving pallets of fruit is rather loud and continues from 7am until midnight. It sounds a bit like thunder. It didn't really bother us as we ate at the restaurant and didn't come to the room until 11:30pm. And we were up at 7 because our bags needed to be ready by 8 as usual.

The place was larger than I had expected. There were many rooms hidden in this building. One wouldn't have guessed that there was a mini hotel behind the door and lobby. The concierge was very helpful. The restaurant across the way is excellent. Have the coffee flan. (But serves beginning at 9pm,) and there is a handy pharmacy in the same plaza. The place is a 2 mile/ 4km from Santiago. Most people would have continued on to Santiago, but I needed a stop here.

You could hear every noise through the door to the next room. You don't feel any real privacy even though you have a single room

no signage visible from the road, a major highway. if we had not been walking the Camino we would have never found the place. the address was incorrect on Booking which did not help us or the person delivering our luggage. no hot water. advertised wi-fi but the router was sitting in a chair in the hallway so connection was limited to being near the door or in the hall. no amenities nearby like restaurants (walkable restaurant closed for vacation) that could be accessed without a car.

The staff. the room. the closet thing to Santiago when all albergues are full for people walking the Camino.

There is a grocery above that start dragging things around from very early on in the morning. You can hear all noises from the adjacent rooms. TV and arguments, thank god they were not amorous. Right on a dual carriageway so walking back into Santiago had its difficulties. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was like something out of the 70's..

It was really cold and smelly as well. The rooms are in the cellar and there was a grocery above them. It was really disturbing and loud even at night.

I could not get in, the door was closed. There was a note on the door that i had to call some number, but how?, i had no phone, there was no email, no whatsapp, no telegram to cpntact. Besides, the place looked like trash. So i was forced to leave. Nothing good, except (the only good thing) that i didn't stay there.

Poor facilities, terrible Internet connection, dirty carpet .Really difficult to find!!! Big sign would really help. Also it could do with few hooks in the room and in the bathroom.

1. there was mould on the ceiling 2. there was no hot water, it was tepid at its best and later the water was freezing cold 3. the bedsheets are made from cheap polyester which makes you sweat at night 4. it’s 4 km from the centre and the area is not suitable for pedestrians- there are only high speed roads around and there is no bar/cafe/grocery in the vicinity.

The mattress was alright and the staff was very friendly.
