Key lock box is very hard to open especially if you don't have tiny fingers.

We have stayed in Masca before but as this was our honeymoon we wanted bigger space this time and it very much delivered. Very well designed you can see someone really though about the little touches. Air-con fans every where which can be needed in Masca due as you won't get a sea breeze. Amazing views goes without saying. A lot of outside space multiple terraces and seating. BBQ was a bonus. Will stay again

Nothing bad - everything was great. The drive down to Masca is windy but there are lots of tourists doing it in rental cars, so it's quite manageable! You get used to it quickly as it's the road in and out of Masca. We arrived at 22hrs in the dark, so weren't even aware of the incredible views until morning.

The location is really beautiful. We had breakfast and dinner most days on the outside table with vast views of the sun in the gorge and the winding road down to Masca. It's very peaceful and you would have no idea there are tourists visiting the village everyday just down the road. There's a little path you can take from the house down to the centre of the village rather than taking the road. We were so glad we decided to stay here with so much space, rather than in a big hotel. The house had everything we needed - we cooked and also had a BBQ. Everything worked well - showers, kitchen etc. There's a new samsung tv, hairdryer, washing machine, iron, oven, microwave etc. There was also an electric heater as we were there in February when it's cool at night. It's a cosy split-level house in the village, but feels very spacious inside and out. The location is good for accessing the North, and not too far from the airport. We drove to La Laguna and on to Santa Cruz de Tenerife for Carneval (stayed there overnight at a cheap hotel to go walking in Anaga the next day) and then drove back, which was all easy enough. Masca is a nice village, and you see people visiting to enjoy the views, so it's nice to know you're living there. El Guanche is a good restaurant in the village with great views. There's a few parking spots on the top of the road by the house, and then a long bay of parking about 100m further down the hill. The house comes with a free parking sign to put in your car window. We really loved everything and would definitely stay again or bring others here. Thanks Claudia!

There is an odd smell in the house, that seems to arise after using the fireplace, it became a bit uncomortable at times, especially after coming in after the house was closed off all day. The house got quite cold at night, so we needed to use the fireplace a lot, plus a small air heater in one of the bedrooms. I would definitely recommend stacking up on firewood if you visit in winter months.

The house is very spacious, having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was definitely a plus. Everything you need is there, plus the views from the terrace and garden are fantastic. The hostess is very friendly and even gave us a lift up to Masca on our first date. There was also a bottle of delicious local wine on arrival. Definitely recommended for people who want to relax and enjoy some peace.

We had a really good stay! Both the house and the location in Masca Valley is better than what can be expressed in the pictures. Claudia was very helpful and a great host! You need a car and a to be a fairly confident driver to get up and down the mountain but it's totally worth it in terms of beauty, calm and for the perfect mix of isolation and restaurants and cafés of the center of the Masca village, only 5-10 mins away on foot. Highly recommended!

Bring your own towels, these offered in the house are very old and lost their freshness long time ago. Uncomfortable roller instead of the pillows in one bedroom.

Everything was perfect ! the view is mind blowing (better than on the pictures), the house is very confortable and well equipped. Masca valley is for us the most beautiful place in the island. And last but not least: Claudia was so kind and responsive for every request. In short I warmly recommend the Casa Guergue
