Very beautiful gardens and patio. The added touches were very much appreciated- over sized towels, upgraded shampoo/shower gel, slippers, wine, coffee, etc Very comfortable beds and would highly recommend this place.

We were hiking the Camino and this inn is right on it. Fernando was so sweet and helpful. The rooms are beautifully done, the beds very comfy and the hairdryer was the best I’ve ever used. It had a very long cord which allowed us to dry our clothes that got soaked in the rain! In the back patio was wine and coffee for the guests. All and alll a great stop along the way.

Casa Herreria was a gem in Caldas de Reis! A beautifully remodeled boutique hotel in an historic building. What a wonderful stay during our Camino journey. They provided excellent recommendations for dinner and we enjoyed a glass of wine purchased from their "honor bar" overlooking the back property and pool. Coffee available for guests was a treat! We hope to return again for a longer stay.

Stylish and extremely comfortable Boutique Style small hotel with the added bonus of a swimming pool. Terrific communal relaxation area with honesty box for Wine and Beer and great coffee and tea making facilities.

Loved it! The outside is completely deceiving, because it’s like a tardis when you come in! We had the room at the back, so had lovely views over the garden and pool. Great bed and bathroom, and a truly amazing and friendly host. Still thinking about that wallpaper- I want it! 😂

An excellent place to stay on the Camino walk. A very welcoming host and those little extras such as chocs on the bed, honesty bar and lovely garden and pool to relax in that just puts the icing on the cake on a lovely room, shower and comfortable nights sleep

Our favorite accommodation on el Camino Português. The home is very cozy & comfortable with a beautiful view. The decor is pleasing. Our room faced the luscious green hillside. I wish I had taken advantage of the patio sitting area and its coffee and wine station. The home is close to the town center. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed. We had a quiet good night sleep. Fernando was pleasant and welcomed us warmly. He was attentive & personable. One of the sweetest people we’ve encountered on our trip.

Absolutely loved this gem of a hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to or through Caldas De Reis. Our host was very welcoming and encouraged us to use the facilities. This property is a short walk to the main centre of town and was very quiet at night.
