    1. Customer service could be better. The AC didn't work. I called and wrote a whatsapp message but I got a response only the next day. When I asked where to take out the trash, I got a response the next day. 2. Parking near the house is VERY difficult. 3. The house has a washing machine but no dryer. The weather was cold and rainy at the end of June. A dryer would have been greatly apprecieted. 4. A LOT of stairs in the house.

    Great location. Kitchen well equiped.

Stayed for 4 nights over Christmas. The town was extremely and surprisingly quiet. Most restaurants were closed. Luckily, we planned to eat in all the time. The setting is quite beautiful and a lovely place to go for a stroll. There are many trails just outside the town. They are not cleared of snow, so bring appropriate footwear if coming in the winter. The ski center is are 2km outside of town, up a hill. There are lots of places to park around the house but bear in mind that the streets are the extremely narrow, hilly and winding streets of a medieval village center, especially if there’s snow or ice. The lodging was very clean on arrival. Abundant firewood is supplied and the fireplace works well. Very limited amounts of household cleaning products are there (like toilet paper and wash up soap). But mostly, you should plan on bringing your own. No food or condiments of any kind are supplied. The footprint of the house is quite small resulting in a layout that is a bit quirky with lots of stairs. The lowest floor (below grade) has the pool table which is not full size, worn out and arguably worth the €0,50 (need exact coin) per game; not as much for the cost, but the hassle. The lower level also has a large main bathroom with shower as well as a laundry corner. The next floor up has a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds. The third level has the main living, dining and kitchen areas. The top level hosts the largest double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower ( the 2nd bathroom of the lodging) and boasts lovely exposed wood of the sloping roof ( watch your head if you’re tall!) Hence, the layout, especially the location of the bathrooms, is something to bear in mind depending on your needs and tastes. The kitchen is large, modern and well equipped with basic cookware, dishes and glassware all relatively new. The living space is compact and has limited seating for a house that sleeps six comfortably.
