A peaceful retreat in the countryside. Kitchen facilities were good. We were the only ones staying so had the beautiful place all to ourselves. Breakfast was included and far better than anticipated with local and handmade fare; mostly from the family

Nothing but you must plan for dinner a ways away as this inn is located in a very rural spot. Ana gave us lots of good suggestions for this at 15, 25, and 35 minutes away

The weather was rainy at the time of our visit as it was rainy season but it added to the ambience of the whole experience.

We loved the original stone work, the structure, and the history of this 17th century family farm conversion. One of the guest rooms has the original stone kitchen countertop as a feature. The breakfast is farm fresh from their own cows. The milk, the butter, and the incredible cream cheese is straight from farm to table. The cafe con leche is delicious! The owners are beyond welcoming, friendly, and full of historical information about the house. The walls are as thick as a castle and you wonder as you sleep in your room under chestnut wood beams at night how they were able raise them so high by hand without machinery so long ago. Our young son loved it here and we cannot wait to come back and visit again.

It was just that bit too far from nearest town and decent restaurants. Unfortunately some guests didn't get that it was a shared kitchen.

What an awesome b&b. The house, garden and staff 10/10. Worth going for the breakfast. Each table beautifully laid out.

This fabulous converted stone farmhouse, formerly the family home, has been lovingly and tastefully restored and is full of interesting spaces and curiosities. We loved relaxing in the covered seating area in the beautiful gardens, and in the large lounge/dining area, complete with enormous original fireplace, and breakfast was amazing, with all kinds of home-grown and home-produced goodies. Added to this, our amazing host Ana took wonderful care of us from the moment we arrived. All in all a fantastic experience.

We had a great stay in the Casa Lourán. The house/hotel and the owner were just amazing! The old stone farm house had been meticulously restored and each bedroom is individually decorated. As it was a quiet day, we had a pleasure to select our own room with high beams and balcony. The house features large lounge dining space with sofas and fire place, also outside tables in lovely garden. The breakfast was also amazing - made up with family and locally produced jams, cheese, butter etc. This is easily our best accommodation we ever had in years of our vacations. We hope we can return and stay very near future

The hosts were amazing and made us feel like at home. Delicious traditional dinner with local produce. Every space is a delight, very well decorated. From a reading room to a hidden little spot in the garden, the property has it all. Only regret was not to be able to stay longer.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, whilst being in keeping with the age of the property. The food at the evening meal was amazing, all locally sourced, mainly from the owners farm. As was the breakfast, really fresh produce. The overall feeling was wonderful, really relaxing and friendly, one of the best places we've ever stayed and such good value for money.

If you want a rural getaway in Galicia look no further. A beautiful estate, awesome host with a constant smile on her face, and the breakfast...oh my God, just wait to see it! A whole table of home-made jams, cheese, butter, milk, bread, tomato sauce, orange juice and honey. Words can't describe how perfect our stay was. We are so sorry we only stayed for two nights, as we could have easily spent a whole week there.

what a special stay this was, such a gem! the beautiful house, comfy room with special details, the fire place, lovely home cooked meal, delicious breakfast with all home made jams and cheese and Ana is the perfect host, so friendly! The whole atmosphere is just wonderful, we'd come back in a heartbeat if we could.

This is an exceptionally beautiful farmhouse. The rooms are very comfortable and furnished with lovely wardrobes, linens etc. Ana has lived here all her life and provides wonderful dinner and breakfast using produce from the farm and garden. You need to book dinner in advance - highly recommend that you do!

A gem. Rare that my travel accommodation exceeds my expectations. This is one of the very few. We loved the place, located in a scenic environment! Cozy, clean, attention to details, quiet. Will come back soon! :-)
