The location was so convenient and just below the Alhambra but the hotel was safe and tucked away in a wonderful old building that had such style and was also completely modern with comfortable facilities in every room.

The hotel is in a beautifully maintained, amazing old building. The rooms are decorated individually and are charming. Victor on reception was also charming and could not have been more helpful. It is also in an unbeatable location, and some rooms have a view of the Alhambra. Highly recommended.

Parking is difficult, but for pay can be done next to the hotel. We were lucky, and could park for free on a spot we found.

Only negative is that the breakfast was rather expensive and was not worth the money.

Everything was great, very good location, staff very helpful and nice, parking right in front of the hotel if there is a spot available (call the hotel to ask they have some spots blocked off). The place smelled of cleanliness with incredible attention to detail.

There was nothing we didn't like but the following might be helpful. The hotel is not easy to find but well worth the effort. Please DO follow the hotel advice and DO NOT programme your satnav for the hotel's location (as we did). If you do, you will end up outside the Alhambra on the wrong side of the river and ravine. If you drive slowly and follow their directions to the letter, you will find the hotel.

We absolutely loved this hotel. From outside the front door, you looked up at The Alhambra in all its glory, spectacularly illuminated at night. The staff were helpful and friendly, offering advice about what to do, where to eat, what to see. They booked a very authentic flamenco evening for us, a short walk from the hotel. Stroll down to the bottom of the street and a delightful riverside awaits you with lots of cafe's and restaurants. We were spoilt for choice. We would return in a flash.

Driving through the village to get to the hotel was a little stressful. But totally worth it! The staff was very accommodating in assisting us as we tried to navigate the twists and turns. Part of the experience!

The hotel is very charming with authentic Spanish architecture. The location was amazing and has incredible views of the Alhambra above, which was in walking distance from the hotel.

The trade-off for the view was the set of narrow stairs up from the top floor service by the lift to the room. The staff did take our suitcases up there when we arrived. Breakfast (not included) was pretty ordinary - we ate out on the second morning.

The room had a fantastic view of the Alhambra - you could lie on the bed and see it out the window! A relatively short walk back to the town and Plaza Nueva where we caught a taxi up to the Alhambra. Numerous restaurants close by the hotel or down around Plaza Nueva.

The only issue we had was that the weather was unusually warm and as a result the room was a little too warm

Loved it but we couldn't get our sat nav to give directions. You have to go through a barrier and drive though pedestrian areas which feels alarming but it's OK once you're sure you going the right way. So clear instructions in English from the hotel would have been reassuring.

The shower was not our favorite. While we liked that we had a secure parking spot, it was a bit tricky to get to it. The instructions were spot on but still tricky.

The parking was challenging however the team were very detailed about the “how to” of parking… it was quite slippery in wet weather on the ancient cobble stones with the hill gradient

The room was a little small (although not overly so). Breakfast was pricey for what you got.

This is a small, quiet hotel in a graceful old building. The location is great in terms of being in walking distance to all areas one might want to visit (although, conversely that does also mean that you do have to do some walking to get to those areas). Beds were very comfortable.
