Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Paula was super helpful with an issue we had with our mobile phone - nothing to do with the hotel. The breakfast was very pleasant. Being able to use the entire kitchen and dining area gives the place a great value add. The place is renovated with love and style - the picture does not give it credit

SpainEverything was fine and we loved our stay there. In fact we would love to go with our family to enjoy a full house private. Our main fear is if you will be able to keep it as clean and pristine as it is now because at the BBQ they were tools and cleaining appliances all around and were dirty
The house is new and we liked that is new, clean and not outdated. Well maintained and well preserved. We loved that they have a pool, because we enjoyed for a while in the afternoon before going to the party. Breakfast was also quite nice although we have read some comments about breakfast not being good enough but for us was quite good and abundant.

The quality of the restoration of this charming stone building (well, group of buildings) is superb, and with no compromises to modern comforts.

Belgium1/ no soundproofing… we were above the kitchen and starting at 8:30 no way to sleep as noise from the kitchen and from the doorway. the doors should have been changed into soundproofing doors and the ceiling from the kitchen should have been soundproofed… I paid for the deluxe but did not feel like it. I give a 8 as the rest was good but it really depends where you are in the house. 2/ quite a lot of bedrooms so not enough outdoor sitting possibility for eating. only one table and a small round table in the garden. 3/ breakfast should have fresh bread ( not the out of the bag bread ) and eggs or omelet. as I said at 120 a night you expect a bit more.
very nice lay out and nice pool area. nice kitchen available if needed. nice outdoor sitting but too few. 364 for three nights felt expensive though for the hotel overall.

SpainNothing. If I have to say something, I would change the format of body gel amenities. The other thing is spending only one night there.
Shared kitchen with all that you need. Vegetables from their own orchard. Room with access to the garden and swimming pool. They were very kind with our dog, something really important for us.
