Everything was perfect.

Location was ideal for us as we didnt have a car. There was a bus station very close to the accommodation and taxis available at the bus station. The accommodation was beautifully finished with a large kitchen available to make meals etc and a lovely terrace where you could eat or sit at. Big modern bathroom within the room and a lovely verandah with lovely views

The lighting was bad and only had very bright lights from the ceiling. Bedside lamps would have added a more comforting feel at night. There were no beach towels which would have been welcoming as most other rental apartments offer these.

The only negative is that it was not the easiest to find. I received a text the day of our booking with the exact location which was very helpful. We did need to phone to be able to find the correct door however.

The bedroom was lovely and spacious. Plenty of storage for clothes, shoes etc. Very clean and well looked after. The coffee machine and cups in the room was a nice touch for a room of this price. The room was very quiet. We stayed the night before there was bull running so there were people out on the streets nearby celebrating. However when we closed our balcony door we could barely even hear the fireworks. We didn't use the kitchen as we were only staying for one night but it seemed clean and well equipped.

This is a great place, spacious, decorated with style, providing comfortable conditions not only for a rest but also for work in a nice enviromnent. The host during my stay was very helpful and shared some concrete ideas about spending the time in Javea and around. The kitchen is very big, the bathrooms brand new, efficient AC and in general this was a pleasure, pity that so short. Last but not least, an excellent value x price ratio, exceeding expectations. I definitely recommend it!

The only thing I can complain about and that can also easily be improved is the wifi connection. At least in my room the signal was too poor and even null when I was on the bed.

The room and the whole building are very nice and clean. All the facilities are modern and in excellent conditions. The host is very friendly and kind. They also have the best oranges for free included with the reservation.

The bathroom was a bit small for a long stay. There was no sink space where to put toothbrushes and toothpaste, it could’ve done with a toothbrush holder on the wall. The bedroom was rather minimalist, could’ve done with a chest of drawers. I missed reading before bed since there were no lamps and it was either no light or the main bright light. Given that we stayed for a whole week and I am a female I inevitably shed a nice amount of hair, plus the sand we carried back to the house on our sandals. It would’ve been great to have had a broom at hand.

The views from the balcony were amazing. I particularly enjoyed the memory foam mattress and pillow although my partner would’ve preferred them to be softer. Both room, terrace and bathroom had most of the basic needs. The aircon system was well welcomed to sleep at night.

The kitchen facilities coould have been a little more comprehensive. However Nico did provide the things that weren't there. The kitchen is shared between the 5 rooms. It would have been interesting if all five occupants, wanted the kitchen at the same time.

Nico is a very friendly, warm young man. Very enthusiastic about Casa Valentina. Which is situated on the edge of the old town. The port area is about 25 mins. walk. To get to Arenal you can get a bus for 1.50 euros each. I think we had the best room. It was spacious and well equipped. Air-con worked well and was reasonably quiet. The bed was big and very comfortable. The linen and towels were changed frequently. We stayed three weeks and enjoyed every day. The bus station is close and it is a short drive to Gata de gargas, where the rail station is, with trains to Alicante and Denia(track not quite finished to Denia). The journey down to Benidorm was spectacular and only 4.80 euros each, return, from Gata. There is a lovely bar at the end of the street (100 metres)
