We were so heartly welcomed by Christina and the stay there was very pleasant. She gave us good information about the places to visit and places to eat the local food(which is crazy good). The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Definitely our hotel next time, when we visit Asturias.

What a wonderful place this is! The hotel is in a beautiful location with a charming (fruit tree) garden. The welcome from Cristina was very warm and she talked about the area with great enthusiasm. You get access to a very extensive (homemade) app with all kinds of information about the region in useful sections. Because we traveled with our dog, we also received a list of all the catering establishments in the area where the dog was also welcome! The hotel and the rooms are furnished with taste and care. Our room also had an outside area with a seating area. The breakfast is well prepared and tasty. If you are looking for a hotel in the Gijón area, you won't find much better than this one.

The location was beautiful, set amongst the hotel’s lovely orchard. The semi rural views from the rooms were great. The breakfast was fantastic in its quality and variety. Loved the freshly made jam with fruit from the hotel’s orchard! Cristina, the manager, was exceptional in the service she provided. Incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. She made the hotel feel like a home away from home, and provided us some fantastic tips for places to visit, and where to eat in the area. I could not recommend a stay at this hotel more highly. Many thanks to Cristina and all the other staff that made our stay there such an enjoyable one.

We liked it at all!

This is a beautiful Rural B&B right outside Gijon in the Asturias. The Owner was pleasant, knowleadgeable of the whole history and surroundings. Right after we arrived she made a game plan for us to start exploring and enjoying the amazing places and taste some delicious food only found in that part of Spain. all in all was a great short stay that left that taste of one day come back to stay longer and enjoy more. We'll definetely stay here again if giving the opportunity.

Everything: our room was comfortable and quiet, the property is beautiful and peaceful, breakfast had lots of tasty options and, most of all, our hostess was charming, thoughtful and gracious. The location felt rural, but it was a very short and easy drive to Gijon. Highly recommended!

Not their fault, but there was extremely loud rock echoing from afar for part of our stay. No idea where it came from but I wear earplugs anyway. Just a note for anyone who may stay. Totally could just be a one time thing.

The property is beautiful. I like the older stone style that matches the rural area more than a modern-looking stay. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and Cristina the owner/host was incredibly welcoming. Though the house is an older style, she had several techs bonuses— like a wifi thing that connects you if your phone touches it. The little details like embroidered towels and handmade ceramics are really nice too.

It would have been perfect if we had the option to buy wine bottles from the venue.

The only negative is not to do with the hotel but the location, there is no restaurant at this hotel for an evening meal and there didn't appear to be anything nearby so we had to go into Gijon each night to eat. Christina recommended restaurants which were great.

A lovely house in a great, peaceful location, close to the city of Gijon. Our room had a view over the garden to the city and sea. We were met by the owner Christina, who was charming, she gave us lots of information and recommendations of things to do, places to visit and eat. Cristina is welcoming and lovely. The hotel is historic, peaceful and immaculate, and our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet is fabulous. Try the yogurt from local cows! Delicious!

We got a lovely warm welcome on arrival from Cristina our host. She is so friendly, helpful and professional and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. She gave us maps and recommendations of places to visit, what to see and where to eat/drink. She made us feel like we were at home! Room was spotless and cosy! Lots of lovely, personal touches. You can tell Cristina is very passionate about what she does and this shows. Very enjoyable breakfast with home made jam from oranges in the garden. A great selection and very filling! Her little helper Naia (the boss!) made our morning! :) We loved our 2 night stay (originally only planned to stay 1 night). Would highly recommend. Not far from Gijon and other places of interest. Beautiful grounds and very quiet. Great for our dog too!

Cristina was amazing! It was our first time to Asturias, so Cristina helped my wife and I plan what to do while we were there. She is very knowledgeable about the area and accommodating towards her guests. In addition to being a native Spanish speaker, she is fluent in English and French. She is probably conversational in other languages, but is very modest about her ability. The whole Casona was so beautiful and tranquil, we did not want to leave! The breakfast each morning was delicious and the perfect way to start the day. Cannot say enough good things, cannot wait to return!

The location is amazing. The casona lies in a quiet and beautiful countryside area very close to the city center of Gijón. The views from the room were amazing. Saying the casona was beautiful is falling short... Every corner of the house from the rooms' names to the garden (those amazing bougainvillaeas) distilled the love and attention to detail Cristina has put into this place. The attention received from Cristina was exquisite, she is charming and very helpful (she will gladly recommend good places to eat or to visit near Gijón, but also around Asturias). And last but not least her attention to detail was something fantastic. The breakfast was fantastic, and ready as soon as you get from the room.

The rural location and view, while still a short drive to Gijon, was exactly what we were looking for. The accommodations were immaculate with special touches everywhere to make you feel you were the only guests there. Christina was amazingly attentive and accommodating.

I did not like the fact that I could not stay longer!

The host takes pride in her property and knows what it takes to make her guests feel welcome here. I was provided with great tips for enjoying the local food culture. The room was great. The breakfast was more than generous. She speaks very good english, which was great, because I could not speak a word of Spanish :| I will definitely be going back! Thank you!
