Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWe had a few issues during our stay. The coffee machine was broken however the staff was able to fix that for us. The AC was broken during our whole stay. We also did not have hot water and water pressure was horrible.
The room was clean and location and the view was perfect. Staff was nice even though no one spoke English, we were able to use google translate to communicate.

UkraineI didn't understand how's the staff was working, like if you were alone in the hotel (was nobody to ask the questions or get some recommendations), but I spent only one night there, so it's not enough to make a conclusion...
The hotel is situated in the middle of everything - a great location! Spacious room with a really comfortable bed (I slept so well that even didn't need the earflaps which were left near the bed (what made me wonder if it means that night will be noisy). The hotel is in morden style and every room has his own name, my room was named "Flamenco" with a nice view on the city .

GermanyThe prices on the roof top bar are a bit unreasonable. Would be okay with 2-3 euros higher prices than bars on the ground but the prices were doubled/tripled.

United StatesBetween the rooftop bar late night music, people accesing it, the Cathedral bells and late night loud revelers walking the street, earplugs are absolutely necessary. But we expected this in part because of the central location, and Castella Art provided free ear plugs. But something to consider if you are the more quiet seeking type. Not a deal-breaker for us!
The location is unbeatable! Right next to the cathedral, with direct views from your room. Close to everything Sevilla! Everything is brand new! Immaculately clean! HUGE and modern Smart TV was a highlight for late night Netflix series watching. WiFi was super fast. Modern open shower with rain feature, handheld wand, great pressure and hot water. Luxury brand toiletries. Staff was spectacular, Pedro the manager was attentive and profesional, we made friends with him. Awesome rooftop terrace for sunset drinks and amazing views to the Cathedral.

United KingdomNo one could speak English or help us. It is a bar/restaurant with a few rooms attached to it so I wouldn’t call it a hotel. It was closed when we came to check in no one there and we had to wait over an hour in the rain… no one answers the phone or messages on booking.com which I think it very disappointing and would expect as minimum. Least they could do would be to message us to let us know (or answer the phone!) any questions throughout time we’re also ignored which May us feel a bit unsafe that there is no one there if we had any problems. Air con doesn’t work properly. I read this before our stay and it is very true. We travelled in September so wasn’t at peak heat. I would imagine in jul aug it would be unbearable. This really lets down the apartments. Shame as a quick fix and a simple improvement on customer service it would actually be a nice stay. It’s a new ‘hotel’ which has a lot to learn…and probably why it’s reasonably priced.
Location- right in town centre but it is so loud all day and all night. If not people walking past, it’s the bin men at 5am. Shame as very nice beds but didn’t sleep well. Large Modern apartment but missing finer details: wardrobe, mirror, had coffee machine but no pods?!, no iron in whole hotel so be prepared to live in creased clothes the whole time or buy an iron like we did!

United KingdomThere is a rooftop bar on the premises which is open to the public. We did on occasion hear groups transiting the stairs instead of using the lift.

GermanyYou can barely sleep - loud bars next door and from 4 in the morning you can listen to the restaurant deliveries and cleaners. Credit card details are taken on a piece of paper that every guest can access and is not locked away. No go!!! I told the waiter who checked us in but he didn’t mind.

United KingdomWe would not call this a hotel, it was more of a bar with some rooms added. The check in process was very slow, the receptionist doing the check in did not appear to know what she was doing, using whats app to communicate with someone. The rooms were not soundproofed as in the property description, ear plugs on the bedside tables should have been a clue. We had a room directly under the roof top terrace, not only was the music from the roof top terrace so loud, add in people congregating outside of our room for the elevator making so much noise it was unbearable, we could not sleep, we went to speak with reception at 1am and we were told it would finish at 2am, 3am it was still ongoing.
The rooms were spacious, but the only positive comment I can make was the location.

United KingdomNoisy and no support from staff who did not seem to know what was going on in the checking operation. One individual was helpful, rest had no clue.
It’s not a hotel, it’s a Tapa’s bar with some rooms. Super noisy as a result from the roof top bar. Staff poorly informed and ill trained. Would have ranked as -1 if allowed. Disappointed with Booking.com ranking and inclusion.

United StatesIt is extremely noisy. There is a small rooftop bar that is very cramped with too many tables for the size of the patio. The only way to get to the rooftop bar is by walking up the last flight of stairs with the staircase being directly outside of the doors to the rooms. There is no noise proofing so people coming down the stairs after drinking are very loud and it woke me up every night. They need to either put some type of sound absorbing material or sound proof the room doors or close the bar at a more reasonable hour. Also, in the rooms, the bathroom is not on the same level as the actual sleeping area so you have to climb stairs each time to go to the bathroom. Not good for anyone older or disabled. The bathroom shower soaks the entire bathroom because the is no door or water barrier.
Location is excellent- close to everything there is to see.
