The historic building, lovingly restored, is beautiful. The people who work there are so very friendly and accommodating.

No restaurant in hotel: drinks and snacks available in nearby bar, but fine dining requires a car journey. Some visitors may find the relative lack of spoken English a problem.

Exquisitely preserved mediaeval atmosphere combined with all modern comforts; jacuzzi in bathroom; balcony; wonderfully friendly and helpful staff; outdoor swimming pool; excellent breakfast; free glass of local wine; ready access to bodegas (Campo de Borja DC) and superb hiking trails in the Moncayo mountains.

There was no note/book in the room explaining anything. Like could we get a drink anywhere was there an honesty bar. Where you take a drink and pay and any surrounding restaurants etc. We where shown our room and that there was a garden with a pool, I think a bit more explaining would have been nice.

The accommodation and host were very good, the room was nice.

There weren't many options to go out for dinner unless you were up for a drive.

The hotel building is just beautiful! The old castle is super charming and with all the rooms and facilities being modern and very well kept, it made for an amazing stay. We opted for the breakfast which was plenty for the two of us and included both savoury and sweet treats. Beds were super comfy, air con worked perfectly, and the room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Can 100% recommend as a lovely getaway!

Gorgeous Castillo which has been beautifully renovated to provide a really comfortable stay. Staff are really friendly and welcoming, genuinely taking an interest in us as guests. It felt like our own home! Rooms are very spacious and stunningly decorated, beds very comfortable and bathrooms immaculate. Pool area seemed newly completed and provided a lovely rest area in the evening sunshine. We had dinner and beers in the local bar which was very entertaining and friendly.

Loved the hotel itself, it's a XIi century castle,and the garden and little pool.The staff was incredibly kind and willing to help and the peace you breathe.... Worth spending a couple of nights.

Everything was fantastic.

The architecture and decoration. The size of the room and 270 degree views south. The light and space. The attention to detail. The breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful almost like a tourist office. The ample reading material of high quality related to the history of Aragon its castles, cities and monastries.

The castle Hotel is absolutely unique. The room was nice with views over the river. The staff was very helpful and gave us recommendations for fantastic bodegas. A very quite but not to remote location for exploring Borja and Navarra.

I can honestly say that there was nothing to criticise.

The restoration of the old palace was simultaneously grand yet intimate, with such care and attention to detail that it immediately felt warm and welcoming. additionally, despite the historic nature of the building, modern conveniences (eg lift, automatic doors, Wi-Fi) were all discreetly and unobtrusively present and seamlessly integrated.

Not much to do in the village. My advise is to get food elsewhere. I would also suggest to charge half price for the children's breakfast. €9 each is a bit much for a piece of toast and a chocolate milk that my 5 and 10 year old had. Otherwise all was great.

Our stay was lovely even though we only stayed one night. The property is stunning and very well kept. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Our bedroom was big enough for a couple and two children. Having the jacuzzi was a bonus after all day travelling.

To stay in a beautifully restored 12th century castle is wonderful, but when the people there are so proud of it, the experience is very special. They could not have been more accommodating of our wishes. Huge room, superb view, comfortable bed, with good quality linens & towels. First rate breakfast. The walks right by the castle are beautiful.

Some streets are exceptionally narrow. Be sure to know exactly where the hotel is situated, and research the approach. The hotel do give you directions, and it would be wise to read up beforehand.

The heater wasn’t strong enough. The room was very cold, the floors were very cold. Especially the first night. The jacuzzi started leaking and I almost fell on the floor because it was wet. Luckily, nothing of importance got wet. The breakfast was not good. I would recommend eating down the street.

The castle is very nicely renovated w modern doors, fixtures, windows. You don’t feel like you’re in a castle necessarily because the renovations were nicely done. The location is quiet and peaceful w a nice view of the mountains. There are only nine rooms. So you feel like you’re in an airbnb. The bed was very comfortable i think it was a temperpedic mattress. The rooms are super clean. They gave us a complimentary cup of wine when we arrived and a complimentary bottle of wine when we left. He also helped us book a covid test in zaragoza when we were checking out which saved us a lot of time because otherwise we would have had to go to a pharmacy and wait four hours!
