Very comfortable room,great location .Lovely staircase.. The staff were all very helpful . Special thanks to Celia for helping me with complicated train tickets to Salamanca . She spent a lot of time to get the correct tickets . Extraordinary breakfast. Loved fresh orange juice.

We checked in around 9:30pm, took a shower and the bath was immediately overflooded. Right in the morning we reported that issue and were promised it will be handled promptly. We were amazed to return to the room around 4pm that day, the bath issue was not fixed and the room was not yet cleaned. Only that evening they managed to take care of everything, after our second complaint. The same inconvenience with the room cleaning occurred once again, and the staff's response was "we apologize but the hotel is full". Thus, every morning we had to specifically ask to have the room cleaned by noon. We believe they can do better.

Location is great, though it's better to ask for a back room rather than a front one, due to the street noise. Breakfast is very good.

We had a room overlooking the central courtyard. Any noise,( voices, telephones ) was multiplied and exceptionally loud. Not sure what could be done to improve this but this is just to make people aware. Not sure if rooms overlooking the front would be better as the hotel is on a busy main road? The snack bar had limited choices especially for vegetarians and it was expensive as were the drinks. Hotel bars always seem to charge a lot extra. Not sure why?

Breakfast, good choices especially as we’re vegetarian. Love being able to order omelettes as we wanted. Good range of cereal and fresh fruit. Very helpful staff especially Sonia. Relaxed pleasant atmosphere but efficient. Hotel position good for walking around Madrid. Convenient Metro station a few minutes walk (Tirso de Molinas). Reception staff very helpful and friendly, always had time to answer queries. Madrid is beautiful, only problem is with the Prado which we booked a month in advance but were still waiting in a very long and hot queue an hour past our entrance time. Seems the Prado oversells tickets which then have to be verified (1st queue ) and then there is a rigorous scanning process, longer than the airport (2nd queue). Afternoons are much better and don’t take a rucksack as this will be held ( 3rd queue) Exhibition excellent once you get inside.

I especially appreciated the very central location. It was a few minutes walk from Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. There were many good restaurants nearby.

The room rules were only given verbally. A welcome biscuit or chocolate would have been appreciated. And every time we wanted to make tea in the room we had to call room service to bring us milk.

The hotel is on Atocha street a main road right in the town centre. Despite having a room overlooking the road, it was surprisingly completely noiseless, both at night and for a siesta

Veru nice, clean hotel. Location is perfect - 15 min to Puerta de Sol, Mercade de San Miquel, Plaza Mayor. Around hundreds of caffees, restaurants.

Overall the hotel was amazing. I really liked everything about the hotel. The room was very comfortable and cozy. I liked the lighting, the TV (builtin chromecast is very useful). The bathroom was very comfortable (hot water control working well which is many times a problem in other hotels). The staff was was very nice, room was kept very clean and I got quick response to all my requests

The hotel is in the city center. We had early check-in and late check-out for few hours. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast is very good and they have a big variety of products.
